Yeah it's a really good song to throw in with some that I know or I'm still learning the guitar when I heard it on the radio I played it that day in the community, my songwriting has grown and it possibly could sound simply beautiful. Hey Marty, I have a unique request, "Way Beyond Empty" by Zakk Wylde, GREAT song, would love to see your take on it.
Folks, this is an incredibly easy song to play. Don't get so hung up on learning is exactly like the record. It's the general feel that counts. I have seen Steve Miller play this numerous times and he plays it a little different each time. Also a little commentary here: young players learn the 'basic' chords in the first few weeks then want to learn 'the real stuff', well the basic chords are 'the real stuff'. Complex chords/music doesn't mean it's better. The most important thing about music is BEING CREATIVE. Thousands and thousands of songs have been written with 'basic' chords. Have fun with this song, it's timeless.
