My recommendations
Tribit stormbox micro 2 - $60 - 8/10 -
A really great sounding speaker at an affordable price and also very compact. Perfect for biking or the beach.
In addition, an application with an equalizer and a battery indicator is available
Soundcore Motion 300 - $80 - 7/10 -
Great sounding speaker with a nice customizable EQ and an adaptive EQ that changes the sound depending on position. But it can distort sometimes
JBL Partybox Encore - $300-330 - 9/10 -
A good loudspeaker with deep bass for a party. It has an equalizer app and has bass boost options that make it even better
will enhance the party. Additionally, there are 2 microphones in the box (USA) and 1 microphone in the EU. I even prefer the encore to the boombox 3. New models have now better battery.

Excellent Sony stands out in open areas, but I would like to see Bombox using an equalizer, if there is much difference.
Yes! Their EQ in the app is symple but works well :).
Im listening to this on my Field 7. The three Capital Letters sounds more bassy but ULT sounds clearer. Down to personal preference, and I'll be sticking to my FULT7
Jbl has deeper bass though, but it's about preferences

With instruments you can barely hear a difference with this speakers, oluv years ago made test with this kind of music and compared it to electronic music
Jbl has deep bass but mids appear muffled at certain instances. Sony is good overall, I think.

The only thing about Sony I like is that has wider sound, JBL altough sounds compact and you feel that it is mono, still preferable

Boombox 3 owner here, and after 70% outdoors i find it bass-light, and hearing the sony being both louder AND with considerably less bass, I can't even imagine how thin it sounds 🫠
Sony is still far behind competitors but its now better than older one, but off axis you can hear this grainy peak on sony
Me to, after 70% with eq +2 0 0 on bb3, the deep bass Disappear on outdoor use 😢
