This is the best tutorial out there. You did something that the majority of tutorials don't do. You told us when to wash our brushes and sponges. I am new to this so I never know if I should use a new brush or sponge which ruins my paintings. Thank you so much. I appreciate you.
I agree totally I am also new to this and we need to know about the brushes ect
Thank you I loved your tips and tricks and the gentle touch . I look fwd to learning some more in the future with you .
Thank you so much 😊
I really needed that. Blending the sky has been hard. Thank you.
I'm glad it helped, yes skies can be challenging 😊
Lovely and very helpful -- thanks for sharing this!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching 😊
I loved your technique ❤
Really good technique that solves many artists problems. Thanks very much.x
Glad it was helpful, thank you 😊
This was precisely what I needed. I was looking for an acrylic mop brush tutorial for blending. Thank you so much 😁
I'm so glad it was useful 😊 I've also used an old make up powder brush for softening and blending, they do a similar job. Thanks for watching
@@IdyllicAcrylicArt that's a great tip . Thank you
Thank you for this basic acrylic blending technique!
Trying to make wood slice gifts for Xmas & can use a tiny sponge first & moving the brush not just side to side but up, down, circles and how much pressure!
You are so welcome! I hope it helps and good luck with the wood slice gifts. What a lovely Xmas idea!
That was very interesting. I would like to see how you clean your brushes.😊
Thanks for watching! 😊
thank you for sharing my friend
Thank you 😊
Super simple way to blend acrylics! Make blending fun and enjoyable in two easy steps. There are links in the description for the brush and sponge that I used 😊
Excellent detailed lección. I love it was very helpful for me. Thank you very much.❤️
I'm so pleased it was helpful, thanks so much for your comment 😊
Some excellent tips there thank you. I suffer from blending itis so this really helped Have subscribed
Thanks for the lovely comment, so glad the tips helped! Welcome to my channel 😊
That’s interesting because i do mine the other way around. I brush paint first and if I need to soften it further than I use a sponge.
I'll have to try that, it's great that there are so many ways to create different effects.
Hello and nice brush and colour so beautiful
Thank you so much 😊
Nice example of blending
thanks so much 😊
Very nice

Yes, i would like a tutorial on taking care of brushes.
Thank you, I will hopefully do a brush care video soon 👍
Very helpful tutorial. Thank you! Perhaps you could share a video on how to use a sponge? I never seem to get that wonderful saturation for something like nebulas or clouds.
Thank you 😊 Sometimes getting the intense colour and saturation can take a while. Some paints have a stronger pigment than others and it can often take a few layers. Thanks for watching 👍
Mi sono iscritto perché mi piace il tuo modo di fare.🙏
thank you! 😊
How to look after your brushes thanks
Thank you very good🎄🎄🎄🎖️🎖️🎖️🇦🇺
thank you for that info , great
Thank you, I hope it helps 😊
The brush bristles are made out of what material? thank you!
Hi, I used a synthetic mop brush. Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing with us how to blend. Your technique looks easy to do it. I have difficulty to blend when I use brush. I will try your technique. Are you using heavy body or ordinary one? God bless you
Thanks so much for your comment 😊 I used ordinary acrylic paint, with no added mediums, just paint. Let me know how you get on with this technique, I hope it works for you 👍
Is it better with a touch of water or does it depend what look you are looking for?
It honestly depends on the brand and type of acrylics you are using. Cheaper brands like acrylic basic probably won't need any or much water, more expensive and thicker paint will need a little water or medium. To make it really easy slow dry medium would be your best friend for blending, especially skies. It really does make it easier for beginners. Also the thinner the paint, the less coverage you will get, so the look you are going for will determine how thin your paint is too. Thanks for watching! 😊
Thank you. That has been helpful to me 😊

Mam
in which year you start learning art
Can you tell me best papers to paint and blend. I want to use blend as a background for my calligraphy works
Thanks for watching 😊You can buy acrylic paper, or even use water colour paper for acrylic paints. I would recommend using a thicker paper (over 300 gsm) so it won't lose it's shape, especially if you intend to thin the paint with water or a medium.
Thanks very much you’ve really explained blending the best, but I’m still having difficulty blending a sunshine, please help.
Thanks, I'm glad it helped. I will try and do another video to help with blending a sunshine. Thanks so much for your comment 💕😊
Hi, do these "make up"-type brushes have name? I cant find brushes like these in german stores or amazon.
Hi, a mottler art brush is what I'm using, but a make up powder brush would also work
@@IdyllicAcrylicArt thanks
Can i use this technic in paper
It might be more difficult on paper, but if the paper is stretched or very thick it could work ok.
Are you using a non drying agent?
In this case I wasn't, but it would certainly help 😊
Thank you!! Please do a brush tutorial if you haven't.
Thanks so much for your comment. I will absolutely do a brush care video! 😊👍
If I may ask, what kind of sponge are you using?
Hi, i used a round artist sponge, but cut it in half (you don't have to do this however). Here is a link to see the sponge I used and I have also put a link in the description. www.amazon.com/Painting-Synthetic-Watercolors-Cleaning-Ceramics/dp/B07WNLNSW1/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=art+sponges&qid=1609634270&sr=8-5
What kind brush you use in this video??
Hi, I used a mop brush for the blending 😊
is it okay if we dont use the sponge?
absolutely! applying the paint with a brush is fine 😊
@@IdyllicAcrylicArt thanku so much
if i would drop the paint onto the canvas just like you did my paint dries
I didn't add any acrylic paint mediums, but if you find your paint dries quickly you could add something to slow the drying process. Such as retarder or even airbrush medium to thin the paint slightly. 😊
What brand of paint do you use?
Hi, great question! Honestly I use several different brands, but try to get good quality primary colours. I use Windsor and Newton artist quality, but also student quality and cheaper brands too. Sorry, if that's a bit vague!
@@IdyllicAcrylicArt thanks!
British Female version of Bob Ross right here
Well, I'll take that as a compliment! Thanks for watching 😊
ok blending but doesn't look like any kind of blending a sunset - just looks like 4 colors blended
thanks for your comment. I used four different colours to show the blending technique, but check out some of my other videos for a more specific sunset if you like 😊
