Just wondering because I maybwant to take a trip to Tokyo Disneyland some day Splash Mountain is sentimental to me in WDW it’s last ride I went on with my maternal grandparents before they passed away when I was in 3rd grade.

In California Disneyland Critter Country is Atlantic forest and bayou themed while this Tokyo version as seen in the above video is rather Tex-Mex desert/canyon themed like Frontierland does and only an expansion of Westernland (Japanese counterpart of Frontierland).
Due to themes of states of Texas, Arizona, and the New Mexico, Tokyo Disneyland's Critter Country becomes a margarita and Tex-Mex earth due to the states of Texas, Arizona and New Mexico were parts of Mexico before US and places to find best margaritas and Mexican cuisines like tacos or churros.
