Hi Lauren! Great tut. Thanks sew much. Basting removal tip: clip each end of bobbin thread (and the middle Stitch if needed), pull thread end to start, pull thread ends off with any tape (scotch, duck, etc) - press, pull n gone! This is an “old school” tailoring trick. Works like a charm. Love all your vids. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents with us!
i am so glad i found your channel, i love your vibe and your videos are wonderful!! thank you so much!!
Your videos are great, Lauren. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with all of us!
Just noticed your sing song "Let's just Sew Whatever". I love it! 💕
I just made my first bag using this video. Thank you so much!
Before turning I usually hit it with some steam just to warm it up which seems to relax the fabric a bit making it easier to turn. Also, I use an old large wooden crochet hook to poke out my corners. Love this pattern! Thanks
So beautiful! Very nice job of yours! As always!! ❤️
I do not think I can sew that first zipper without seeing it! Great video. Thanks :)
Y have a great astetic and very skilled in presentation skills I like this simplified bag . Much success. 👌🏾😇
Great video, Lauren! I would love to see your pressing techniques. Thanks.
Hi Lauren - love, love, love this video tutorial! I have had the Heidi pattern for some time and I think now is the time to attempt it. Your video was so detailed and informative that I feel I can accomplish it!! Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement!
Suggest using a plastic or metal crochet hook to push out the corners. Then no sharp cutting points to worry about .
Hi Lauren, glad to see another video, I love watching all your videos , thank you
Thanks for the video tutorial. I have made several Heidi bags already but this is still helpful. I love to see different techniques. I love how you used leather for the back panel and different interfacing. Canvas lining? I will have to try that in the future. Thanks again. 😊
Thank you for this tutorial! I found it AFTER my first Heidi attempt. You tutorial helped so much!
It’s like you read my mind, I was looking for Heidi just last week ! I found the old video on fb. Thanks
Now I really gotta make one!
Sew Sweetness has a really heavy duty turning tool that works great for turning :) Great tutorial as always. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the tutorial. Wouldn’t have been able to put Heidi together if I hadn’t watched your video. I had made the Vivian and didn’t have as mush trouble with it. Thanks again
Awesome video! Any tips on using nylon zippers by the yard for the main bag closure? Since I won’t have the excess zipper tape at the ends to veer off the edge should I open the tape and veer a few of the teeth off the edge?
Yes! I would use a zipper tab on one side and turn the tape on the other side!
Haven't watched yet, but the Heidi is one of my FAVES!
Hi Lauren, I learned turning corners with a chopstick! Love your channel, and LOVE the Haunted Mansion fabric!! By far my favorite ride at the park. I have the comic books and books too!!!
Love love your videos.
Im going to have a go at the Stella swoon pattern, but just reading the instructions I feel lost already 😳 will you being doing a video on this bag any time soon fingers all crossed 😁 x
I sew both sides of the zipper before ripping out the basting stitches 🧵 . Have never had a problem.
Great video. A bamboo point turner has both a pointed end and a curved end which I will use.
Another easy to follow video. Thanks
I thought I stayed up late lol. Glad to see another video
HI Lauren, you could try the long handle hemostats as you can push the corners out as well as grab and secure corners to pull (if you know what I mean) x
Love ❤️ this video! I think this is your best one yet! Thank you!
I'm so glad I found your site.
Hey Lauren, Use the back side of you tulapink seam ripper to push out corners!!! I love the video like all others!!! You are an inspiration to me!!!!
WHAAAA. Mind blown. Gonna try it. Make sure the cap is on 😂😂
Another great video. Thank you Lauren.
Ladies lv their bags of all kinds it's a great business.😃
I've learned a lot from ur video's. I can't wait for ur next video.
This video has answered my prayers I've wanted to make the Heidi clutch for so long, Thank you for such an easy sew along, I have a question, If the accent piece is fabric do you have to cut two of them stitch them together and then turn over to avoid fraying.
Yes!
@@LaurenMormino Thank you
The end of a chopstick works great to push out corners
Loved this clutch. Great tutorial ❤️
Hi great videos. You can use chopstick to push the corners.
Do you think I could get away with using both 8” zippers as I don’t have any others on hand?
Thank you
Love your videos!
I have been enjoying your videos very much. I never thought of making bags or purses, however I have so inspired by your videos, that I am getting geared up to try my hand at making some bags. Keep up the good work. P.S. Do you have to work with a power machine?
Woohoo I just downloaded this and hoped you would do it 😍 fingers crossed you do the travel wallet by Emmaline next 🤞
Awesome video Lauren!!
Wow you are amazing thx for this video
Beautiful
Hello 👋 I've downloaded the pdf pattern for this clutch. Went on RUclips looking for a tutorial on how to make this and came across your video tutorial after seeing many more. I selected your tutorial because it gave me direct visual instructions. Thank you for your amazing video tutorial! Question: do you carry the tag you applied to your bag front? If you don't carry it in your shop, can you please direct me to where I can order these? Thank you for your prompt response and your beautiful tutorial. Can't wait to put my pattern together. 👍🙌💖😘🤗🌹
You can checkout my website for hardware! Moremeknow.Com
wow I just found the links you've always said links below, I finally took time to look , cool!
HI Lauren is the deco villa lite fusible and do you find that it wrinkles when you birth the bag
When probably fused it does get wrinkles when turning but you can press them out. Or iron your ironing board and press the item against it to release the wrinkles!
You are easy to follow...
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. It’s very helpful! May I ask what kind of fabric do you use for the lining? Thank you :)
I believe it was waterproof canvas
Hi Lauren! Is the purple printed fabric quilting cotton or linen cotton canvas? Thank you!
Linen cotton canvas
Great video Lauren. I love this pattern. Have you ever added darts to the bottom to give it more room? Good job as usual.
Oh I haven’t! But I think you could!
I am sure you have answered this before, but....where did you say you got the acrylic pattern templates? I looked below for a link???
Thanks for the video.
I would like to know what colour of thread do you prefer when sewing gold vinyl/leather?
I would probably use a white or maybe a camel color!
I love your videos. Quick question about interfacing; is there a special order that the woven fuse and decovil are fused to the wrong side of the fabric? Thanks
Wovenfuse first. Then decovil!
love your videos. and happy no music. is there a reason you do not use zip tabs? keep up the good work. gettring addicted t o you
Love your shirt
Yours is on the way :)
I love your classes. I would like the mold. How to acquire?
chances are the lining made it a little stiffer and made the top snap area poof out more than if you used a softer liner.
Where do you get your logos with brads?
Can you make this on a domestic machine?
Love watching you and you make me so relaxed! Curious to start doing more video myself, what camera do you use and how do you edit it?
My iPhone :)
Male has the outie and female has the inie
Hi Lauren, will you share where you purchased your name tags from? Thanks
Alibaba.com
Great video as usual! You are the best, thank you. Question, where do you purchase your shiny leather from? I love it. I'm sorry I missed that the first time I watched it.
It’s from tandy learher

Comment puis-je avoir votre patron,merci
Cut size: 10” x 7.5”
SMALL CLUTCH ..POCKET PANEL....... How do i get it to that size ?? when i cut the pattern out, mine don't end up that size..lol :( HELP .
Wish someday you'll do coraline (with handle).
I will admit to my list! I still haven’t made one 😂😂
Where do you get your name tags from?
I really love your bags and tutorials!! Do you ever use upholstery, linens or heavy cotton for your bags? I love the waterproof canvas. I went to the site you use as well as fabric.com. Is waterproof canvas similar to a faux leather upholstery?
Waterproof canvas and faux leather are quite different. I use linen cotton canvas quite often for my bags :)
Your sewing machine sounds different is this a different machine?
Why I can’t see anything on the page for the zipper template
It’s possible it’s no longer available
Hi Lauren.
Looks like a fun bag to make. Very nice video and easy to follow. 👍😁
Thanks
I don't trust myself with the seam ripper the zipper part😬
Would you share where do you order your name plates from?
She did a video on that Can't remember the name but the of the video, but it does indicate she going to give inside info.
A good turning tool is a chopstick... 😁
I use a size g or h crochet hook. Too small it will punch through.
Genius!!!
Thanks. I just made another large bag the momma to this one. I love the video... If I get stuck I can always run to the video u have. The crochet hook really comes in handy.
💕
large chop stix
I use a chopstick to poke my corners out.
❤️👜
Pls mam measurement write in English pls pls mam
i got completely lost. you did not follow the steps in the pattern so when i would go back to refer to it, nothing made any sense. when do we deal with the back pocket lining? My template came out with wrong sizes too. nothing matched up right when i turned it inside out. I broke a needle... recommending a zipper foot and changing out feet would have helped... ugh. i hate this pattern and the tutorial was missing so many steps. ... you dont instruct what sides to place in which direction when dealing with the main purse lining. yours look the same back and front and since you didnt use interwoven interfacing on those i had no idea what you were doing.
Sorry to hear my tips didn’t help ❤️
@@LaurenMormino they did help! they helped me get started. I just needed more hello because I'm a loser. lol update: I was able to finish this project and it came out pretty ok. I don't know if I'll make it again.
where did you order your personal name plates from
Alibaba.com
