I was very surprised that you didn't sear the beef for a bit before adding it to the water, but that you parboiled. Is that typical? Is there a reason you wouldn't want to sear the beef beforehand?
I'm assuming you're talking about making beef bone broth which I did not do in this video. What I added in the water was simply Pork Bones which had almost 0 remaining meat and searing is not ideal. When I do make my own beef broth, I do bake or seer the beef which gives it an incredible flavor! But you must have gotten mixed up, as the pork bones I used was simply for a light herbal broth.
