    This turned out so cute! I wonder if I could use a beer mug from Dollar Tree for my husband.

    • @CassieSmallwood

      You could definitely use a beer mug! You would want to wrap some tissue paper around your styrofoam so you don't see it through the glass. That would be super cute. Great idea!

    I make these candy bouquets to sell and the only hot glue I use is to glue my foam to the bottom of my container. Invest in glue dots..no worries of your candy melting or burning your fingers. You did a great job..looks pretty and professionally done 💜

    • @CassieSmallwood
      @CassieSmallwood  8 месяцев назад +2

      With the amount of candy I used, probably $30 to $35. With more candy $40 to $50. You can make them as big as you want by using a larger base and adding more stems with candy.

      @@CassieSmallwoodWhy did you stop & how much did you sell them for?

    • @CassieSmallwood
      @CassieSmallwood  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@janetmccoy7945 we delivered them and it was not profitable in the big city we lived in to do the deliveries to far away areas. We priced them based on how much candy we used and offered different sizes (small, medium, and large). We should have charged more for delivery or had a specific delivery area to make it profitable. This was early on in the internet so we were just selling locally. Now with internet shopping, so much more is possible.

    • @CassieSmallwood
      @CassieSmallwood  Год назад +1

      I want to say 5 inches. I thought I said in the video but maybe not 😒 The smaller they are, the more you'll have to use to cover the skewer.
