Just imagine being in a room with Darren Criss, Curt Mega and Grunt Gustin. DAAAMMN. Btw love your reactions and I'm so happy you're reacting to Glee, I knew Darren from here and discover StarKid because of him :))
in my opinion Darren’s best Glee performance was “Cough Syrup”, love that song and he certainly does it justice, fair warning its cut together with a very serious scene from the show. A close second is his acoustic version of “Teenage Dream”. Grant Gustin’s best was “Smooth Criminal” a duet with Naya Rivera, who sadly passed away over the summer.
If you like Grant Gustin, you should watch “Running Home to You” from his tv show The Flash. It’s really good and he sounds amazing!!! If you want Glee Grant Gustin I 10000000% recommend watching “Smooth Criminal” it is one of the most popular glee songs and it’s soo great!
This performance was from Season 3 Episode 5, and the Warblers were introduced in Season 2 Episode 6 (they were introduced when Darren was.) Glee performances without context can be slightly confusing, but it would be great to see more reactions to Glee performances! This was really enjoyable!
i dont remember the autotune being so heavy in glee.. damn the nostalgia.. you have so many wonderful and cringy glee performances to react to :) edit: YOUS HOULD REACT TO SMOOTH CRIMINAL with Naya Rivera and Grant Gustin
A lot of the Warblers are still good friends which is nice! Titus Makin Jr (also a warbler, he played David) is actually in Wayward Guide along with Curt and Darren. Totally agree they overdid the auto tune with that song which I’ve never understood because Curt is a great singer! But oh well, now he can shine with Starkid and TCB.
Smooth Criminal by Naya Rivera and Grant Gustin is often hailed as one of the top performances of the show and I agree! I've seen a lot of comments about Darren's Cough Syrup which I also love, but another one of my favorites is the Nationals performance (all three songs: It's All Coming Back to Me, Edge of Glory, and Paradise by the Dashboard Light) because it's such a good send off for the original characters.
There is a point in Glee when Kurt joined the Warblers. The songs with Kurt and the Warblers that come to mind are Animal and Blackbird. But my all-time favorite Glee performance is when Rachel sings My Man.
'cough syrup' is one of Darren's best glee songs. but also i really like 'its time' which is more upbeat. Darren joined glee in season 2 episode 6. he was only supposed to be a reoccurring character but he became so popular that Ryan Murphy made him a main.
You should react to "Hopelessly devoted to you" from Glee. It's not only one of my favorite versions of the Grease song, but it also lets Darren's vocals shine perfectly!
One of my favorite Warblers moments. When we meet Grant Gustin for first time. Love Sebastian. So much talented singers and so little screentime. Warblers need their own spinoff. There is a whole fandom in fanfiction for Warblers.
I always enjoyed this one because I was a fan of a group called R5 and so the blonde Warbler Jeff was played by R5's bass player (& a great dancer) Riker Lynch who has stayed friends with fellow Warblers Curt Mega, Titus Makin Jr. and Dominic Barnes. The 4 of them have done some projects together outside of Glee that Curt has written, including Dinner with Curt and Dom which was a dinner & a show type of thing with guests performances, some of which can be found on youtube.
You should definitely check out Grants “smooth criminal” on glee with Naya Rivera!! And Darren’s “cough syrup”, “teenage dream” (season 4 version) and “against all odds” too, the two last were actually recorded live which only makes them even better:)
Glee has a whole heap of covers, the majority aren't as good as the original but they often switch things up that make them enjoyable and interesting in their own right. One Glee cover I 100% recommend reacting to is "smooth criminal" their cover of that song is so different unique and awesome
hahaha that Baby Got Back performance is hysterical. And Tessa Netting (who was in Spies Are Forever) is in it too! tho they sadly don’t have solo moments
I watched Glee all 6 seasons, and I can agree on the drama part. I did love the music numbers and I absolutely love Matt Morrison! One of my favorite numbers was when Lea Michelle’s character had a crush on his character (the choir teacher, in case you forgot). He sang the Police cover of “Don’t Stand So Close”! Also, Chris Colfer singing the Beatles “Blackbird” was another favorite. I had no idea you liked Glee! lol
So A Very Potter Sequel was performed in like May 2010, went on youtube July(?) 2010, and then Darren’s first episode of Glee was in November 2010. This performance was I believe from Season 3, Darren debuted in early Season 2. You should watch Teenage Dream, which was the first appearance on Glee for Darren and what made him a star and essentially turned him into a regular cast member because of the fan reception.
If you want more grant gustin you should react to superfriend (not to be confused with starkids superfriends lol) from the musical episode of the flash
Grant Gustin's best known number in Glee was the duet of Smooth Criminal that he did with the recently deceased Naya Rivera. ruclips.net/video/kZyLmn2moMM/видео.html
I guees the CW we're watching and they they mmm.. that kid Sebastián looks like a good Flash, yes aire, Lets take that girl too Marley and make her Supergirl, if we don't know what too do we can make them sing, and they did (superfriends)
@@behindthecurvereacts yeah, unfortunately, I believe it was right before season 6. he died in Canada in July 2013. the show paid tribute to him. it was heartbreaking
Darren Criss got cast in glee the same year as a very potter sequel (2010)
Just imagine being in a room with Darren Criss, Curt Mega and Grunt Gustin. DAAAMMN.

Darren was on Glee within 6 months of AVPS coming out.
Not true
Avps premiered in the summer at azkatraz or however it's spelled and glee was in September

Oh yes and the cellos
Yes for sure!
This was Curt's only solo on Glee.
So sad, but I guess that it's because the Warblers weren't as major to the story anymore at this point.
Definitely robbed from that! lol
But I guess it's 'Blaine and the Warblers' ;)
A lot of the Warblers are still good friends which is nice! Titus Makin Jr (also a warbler, he played David) is actually in Wayward Guide along with Curt and Darren.

Darren was originally supposed to be in Starship in 2011, but he couldn't do it because he was cast in Glee at the time he was supposed to do the show
Wasn’t he supposed to be Tootsie Noodles I believe!
is that why they included the glee joke lmao
@@lynchie2073 yep lol, Darren was in the audience too I believe

You could always watch the really terrible glee performance that Joey richter was in
hahaha that Baby Got Back performance is hysterical. And Tessa Netting (who was in Spies Are Forever) is in it too! tho they sadly don’t have solo moments
oh god, i tried to repress my memory of that
are you kidding?!? That is genuinely one of my favourite glee songs!
It's not terrible. It's...unique.
It’s not terrible purely because Joey Richter and Tessa Netting are in it lol
Smooth Criminal is amazing. React to it. You will be amazed
Hope you do more glee reactions! At least the Darren ones 😂 and grant does a pretty great cover of Smooth Criminal, among a few other songs

Can you react to Naya Rivera's performances? She just passed away but I think she had the best voice of that show.

Grant's first day on Glee ❤❤❤
Sebastian "do I look like a freshman " lol
Grant Guston and Naya Rivera's Smooth Criminal is one of my favorite performances in the show
U literally watched the only episodes of glee without Darren 🗿
When he saw Darren and was all "it's harry potter" I said to myself, wow you really did only watch the first season.
I was like : "Kurt"?

Was not expecting this!
I think auto tune is definitely something you have to look past with Glee as they tend to have it quite heavily in most of the performances.
There are some great musical numbers in the musical episode of the Flash
Just discovered, and am enjoying, your reviews. I agree about the overuse of autotune. It was also a source of irritation for me.
