I was in lake Puelo, Argentina last year, and I was able to see the distillery, we tasted the 10-year organic edition and I thought it was excellent, at the same or better level than a good Scotch. Also near lake Nahuel Huapi is the Madoc distillery, which has very good products as well. Greetings and congratulations for the channel.
Fascinating review. I'm in New York, and there is at least one farm distillery that I know of making Single Malt (Hillrock), and several others which are using New York State Malt and Grain. I even have a bottle of Single Malt made in Brooklyn (Brownstone Single Malt).
@@thespiritsafe Yes. However, a whisky like that Hillrock Single Malt is about $100, which is really pushing it, even to someone like myself who's willing to subsidize an artisanal endeavor.

yes it is a trend and it is good to see local barley, rare barley strains and farm distilleries.
