I haven’t been to that track since the 90’s, there wasn’t that loop with the long straights back then, glad to see they expanded. Looks like a blast now as I thought it was too tight of a track before for the shifter karts.
Hi Jordon. Nice driving. I own the same engine, but mine doesn't seem to run well at all. yours runs very smooth. With standard carb settings i already reach exhaust temps of low 940F and high 1300F. Is it normal for this Engine? when driving, it seems much too rich.. but I am a little bit afraid concerning those temperatures. before i always drove TM Engines, where those values would be much too high..thanks
Thanks! There have been a few iterations of the carb, and also I know some shipped with needles backward(!!). I try to stay under 1240 in practice, 1300 in racing. Contact @harden_motorsports_group he can help you get the carb sorted I bet! (he does mine)
not sure I totally follow, do you mean curb? If you float the curbs right (weight on other tires) you can drive the kart as if you were not even on the curbs!
Hi, would please give me the settings for the Tillotson carburetor? (For some reason my Super Shifter keeps falling flat on 2nd and 3rd gear, it’s driving me crazy... the strange thing is that it only does it on a couple of turns) Thanks in advance.
Jordon Musser Thanks a lot! I was given these settings L 1.25 H 1:75 but I can’t get it to run properly, it keeps dying on 2nd & 3rd gear, so frustrating!!., I guess I’ll keep trying, hope I don’t seize the engine.
@@p.c.h.6721 Sounds like something else is going on. Make sure the carb in clean, fuel pump is clean and fresh, and check your reeds. These things are pretty hard to stick if built properly.
Check out 125 and 175 shifter karts at mid Ohio that's my local facility you can really fly I have a new 125 TM engine in a 2017 j90 DR shifter kart made by crg it really moves on that track
175 are only in America because the engine reps are really trying to push this engine its not doing well any where in America except for on the California coast or Florida oh and some accusational Vegas racing period that's about it really 125cc shifter kart are still everywhere else though
I’ve never wanted something so much in my life
- Which power weight ratio do you want ?
- YES !
A little F1 car that you can keep at home and use it on Sundays. Super fun.

Yes, much better for shifters now. mega high grip too
That midrange is insane!
CC's rule!
nice driving dude !
Thanks!

Are you lifting off the throttle when shifting? If so your shifts are very smooth!
Yes sir
Nice laps. What sprockets did you run with the stock Honda at NTK? Which sprockets do you use now with the IAME?
I usually ran b/w. 1.56 and 1.588 with Honda. For this I think it's an 18/26
Always love to watch you drive a kart! What camera you using?
Thanks Doug! This is a hero 7. Just got it!
That's what I thought! They have the best stability.
When you are hitting a curve you leave the gas without touching? Or you touch it a little bit?

This looks so much fun i want it so bad but i know i would kill myself xD Great Driving 👍
Thank you! Just takes practice.
Why did you have to push it in order to start it? It comes with electric start, that one doesn’t????
The skusa version is not electric start
Jordon Musser
Interesting! Thanks 🙏
I think it's only the non shifting 2 stroke Karts that have those, these you role them and drop it into gear and it starts up basically
Grandma Ruth
Here, in Europe, it comes with electric start, never seen a Super Shifter over here without electric start.

I would ask your engine builders, as they DO vary based on how they set it up. But 1.25 on the L and 1.75H is pretty standard
Jordon Musser
Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much!
Yes, I will check the reeds and everything else, hopefully I’ll get it to run like it’s supposed to, so frustrating
top speed
enough. Well over 200mph

I have been lucky enough to drive a race car there, love that place!
This looks faster than the 125 is it?
It is probably .15 to .2sec a lap faster at this track

Yup, agree it seems that way!
