I'm certain this is from Friday 25th September because the HWUTL episode ending briefly seen at the start is the second one from the 1954-70 series (1955 - Home Before Nine), that would tie in quite nicely with the Experiment programme as that one was second in the Biology unit transmission order from 1978.

@@FloatiesBoy1978You could have been right about the date too if you looked at the HWUTL series 6 playlist...

This would have been a Friday beginning Friday 18 September 1987 as How We Used To Live would have been followed by Experiment only that particular day of the week. Narrowing it down to Friday 18, 25 September, 2 ,9,16,23,30 October or 6,13,20,27 November

ITV Schools continuity and start of Experiment, autumn 1987 0348am 10.1.25 how we used to live? i enjoyed that show, as a young child... just like some soap opera, really - as played out in the style of past historical lives being lived (akin to the sullivans but with more laughs)... obviously depends which era you happened to be boning up on, though, granted. we used to always get stuck with word war 2. tiresome... how we used to live is for primary school kids, though... kindda grew out of that in the early 80's.
