Amex Gold vs Chase Sapphire Preferred, Which Card is Better?

I have both and can say I net positive value from both. CSP is easier to net positive value with, but if you're a foodie, the Gold card is easy enough to use for pickup or delivery (Uber benefit stacks well with SavorOne benefit of Uber One)

McDonalds is more than $10, Shake Shack is way beyond $10 so you will be overspending with the Gold card

I disagree. I don't go to shake shack or McDonlads. Still getting $10/m back from both Grubhub and Uber Eats makes up for the AF. Still get plenty of benefits out of my Gold card.

It's a great earner but so are my other $95 and free cards. And I don't have to order garbage food from grubhub and paying them $2 extra for pleasure of me picking them up myself.

I use it quite often. I see no benefits that I would use with the Chase Sappire Preferred card over the Amex Gold or Savor One.

I feel differently, I use uber consistently and shake shack is close to where I live, justifying the AF feels almost natural to me.
