Hey guys! I hope you enjoy and maybe learn something new ⭐️ save this video for your future projects! Btw sorry for the banging at some point in the voiceover.. neighbors, am I right! 🤪
Thanks so much for this video!! I'm knitting a v neck and just needed to see someone shape the mitre of the front centre. Fabulous!! And I LOVE that yarn!!
A great tutorial. I try and get everything v neck if possible just because it’s a more flattering shape on me. I have to REALLY love something to get anything rounded or crew necked. Lol. But working in v neck isn’t something that’s considered beginner in most sweater patterns so it’s cool to see how it’s done here. ❤️
Thanks for posting this video tutorial. I had given up hope of being able to finish my project. I just couldn’t understand the pattern instructions for inserting the v neck into my sweater. I need to finish it bf we leave for TX for Thanksgiving. YOU’VE SAVED MY PROJECT. you made it 10X easier than my pattern did. And I DO love the colors in your yarn!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have struggled with this part of my partner's cricket vest, sadly giving up in the end! Now I feel I can finish it after a 12 year hiatus 🤣🤣😁 another UFO taken care of 😊
I've been binging your videos since my country's back under lockdown, and really invigorated my love for knitting! I'm making a cabled vest right now so I'm definitely saving this when it's time for me to do the neck 😘
Hi there, thanks a lot! this is exactly what i was looking for, not only for v neck but also for armholes! i wonder if you could show how to do the same thing with a 1x1 rib?
Your top IS beautiful & I love the yarn...😍 V- necks are my favorite as well...😄 I'm new to knitting, so I need all the help I can get...😉 I'm definitely a new subscriber & will definitely save this video; thank you...😊
This is exactly what I was looking for. I am making a garter stitch pullover with a v-neck. However, the neckline is supposed to be left „raw“ according to the pattern and I would prefer some ribbing. Thank you for your work.
Incase people want to try it, I've just done this with 2x1 ribbing and it works really well. Only things. Make sure your centre 2 stitches are the two knits, and the total number of stitches should be divisible by 3. If you do those two things, it should work for you😊
Your video is very nicely made and helpful. I do have a question though - Should the number of stitches either side of two central stitches be an odd number? I’m struggling with those central decreases. When I follow the video and do the decreases, I end up with an uneven number of stitches so can’t complete the 2 x 2 rib. Can you help? Thanks so much.
it looks like the link for the pattern is wrong/the etsy page has been deleted? is the pattern still available? would love to start a project like this🥺
Do you have a tutorial that shows how you finished off/decreased the V-neck, creating the split, which is what precedes this lovely ribbed finish that you pick up your stitches from?
Hi Bethany. I love the v-neck retro sweater and just purchased the pattern. The colour you used is it the omitama #1? I also love the vest you made but couldn't find the pattern for that. I reckon it's not too hard to adjust.
Afternoon! Love ur channel and ur patterns; bought 2 already!! Question though: when u start reducing stitches, why k2tog on one side and ssk on the other? Would k2tog not work on both sides? Have seen this on vids of other creators as well, and nobody ever explains why the 2 different reductions. Looking fed to trying your v-neck sweater!! Happy Holidays dear Bethany!
Hey there! It’s due to the direction that the stitches sit when working both. You could k2tog for sure but ssk makes it look more symmetrical. Probably not the best explanation but it’s what I’ve got for you atm 😆

Are you going to release a pattern for this vest?
Thank you! This is so helpful. I ditched the odd instructions from the pattern I am working on and went with how you did it here - so much easier!

Very helpful tutorials, related to the project i'm working on, thank you
Oh the colors of that yarn are beautiful. I find it a bit of a challenge working with 0 lace yarn.
That sweater is beautiful! It looks like handspun.
Now that you have the neck on, it looks so good!
It really does change everything!
Love the yarn!
Love your videos. They are so helpful.
Thank you for this! Finished my colorwork sweater following an older pattern and was confused as to how I produced a round neck on a v neck 😢

No, that makes perfect sense. Thank you 😊
I love your videos! Would also love to see a video on how to block your knits
Thx it is very easy explanation.
What if you make your beginning of round the centre front so you don't have to worry about counting from the back neck by 4?
Thank you ❤
Hey yall, im trying to get into knitting.. is a 4.5mm size a good size to get or is there a size thats broadly used overall?
Do you have a pattern for this vest? I love it!!
hi! did you pick up every single stitch to get 164? or did you skip a few?
I picked up every stitch! The number would depend on how large your neck opening is :)
Hi, why die you knit two rounds before you start with the decrease?
u said that at the centre we should have two stitches but when u started decreasing it shows 3 stitches in between the markers, why?
can you make step by step tutorial for beginners ?
Anything in particular you'd like to know?
@@WellLovedKnits sweater please. winter is coming ,you know :D thank you
Thanks
Jesus! How do you knit like that?
