Hi Russell - another great video: short and packed with clear thinking and practical advice. I'm sure that I will come across it elsewhere in your content but I don't understand the terms 'Ease Points' in the text for the Full Category Descriptions on the spreadsheet. Is this similar to buffers or something else? I'd be grateful if you could clarify. Thanks again
Hi James, so ‘ease points’ are a 3rd type of key point. While safety and quality key points are the most crucial, ease points are where we can capture knacks that our skilled operators have discovered- knacks that make life easier “hold it this way…” “drop this end into the jig first” kind of thing
@@the_lean_expert okay thanks Russel I will go back and look again at the spreadsheet in this context. I really appreciate the content you have provided and am grateful for your feedback.
Hi Russel! Thanks for the valuable information. Does this include the skills for the setup processes in the machines? E.g. , changing belts in a pulley, or something along those lines. Thanks!
Hi there. It can include those things. Truth is it should reflect whatever your needs are in terms of skills flexibility and the skill required to make good parts safely. Just be careful of being too granular

Great - I'm pleased it was useful Nate - keep it simple!
