Discrimination is a very strong word, and that Ez felt. To clarify, I think calling him "Tisoy" was more of a general term used for white looking Filipinos. And I say this because every town or city where people are hanging out, are using the to whoever is looking white. I'm in myate 60's and I that's why I know. I remember there was even a comic strip or a tv character called "Tisoy". And I'm positive that's where the word originated and it was even common in the 70's or 80's.
