Thank you guys for starting this conversation and injecting a small dose of hope into the NEET condition. I'm sure you all have already seen when the subreddit at times really just becomes an echo chamber for the despair that everyone feels, triggering that domino effect of negativity where it's easy to collectively wallow in misery and self-loathing. Like you guys mentioned throughout the discussion, constant hopelessness will wear down even the most jaded and broken individual, and might unfortunately lead to that sometimes literal dead-end of one's motivation to go on. I'm glad to hear that you two are doing your best to take care of yourselves, and have not yet resigned to being NEET forever. Over the years, you see some people trip and fall into the NEET hole by circumstances outside of their control; some may find that they ended up digging themselves into one; some may have been pushed or thrown in to a hole by people in their lives; and others may have had no choice but to jump into the hole to seek shelter from some form of danger. I hope that you'll find success in climbing out of the NEET life, and maybe even pulling a few others up along with you. Anything other people can do to help at all? Looking forward to your next update.

lol being out of work or college for a year is not a neet. Now 11 years like me.... That's a NEET. And NEET LIFE IS GREAT.
