A huge thank you to Rick and his crew at Grassdale for allowing me to put the drone up! It really does show the scale of the place. Music courtesy of Epidemic Sound
I live in the Texas northern panhandle and there are over 10 this size near by....In the Hereford area there is much more. And many more up to the Denver area of the high plains.
@@robertreznik9330 I need manure for my worm organics farm, do you sell or free manure, I live at Houston, I may move near you if I can get it.. free. :)
Many years ago I lived in West Texas and there was a feed lot 60 miles away. When the wind blew from that lot, the smell was sickening. Don't eat beef.
@@neiljoneseventvideographya9902 I did see the mesh covering above but I was wondering about if it rains then what? I’m not trying to shade or anything just genuinely curious.
MathyBoonen Feedlots actually do a lot to increase environmental efficiency of cattle production and the cattle are only there for the last few months of their lives. Grass fed cattle burp more methane due to the increased work of the rumen, they take as much as a year longer to make finishing weight, and may not even weigh as much as their feedlot counterpart. Being able to meet demand with fewer cows, less land, and less time is the better alternative. The US cowherd is less than half of what is was in the 1940s and we produce even more beef.
Those Photoshoped in grey squares in each confinement area that's supposed to fool people that they can get shade is a terrible job as we can easily tell!
Rebecca, I dont know you from a bar of soap, but I can assure you, there is absolutely no photoshopping in this video! It may surprise you, but people other than vegans actually do care for livestock! Get a life, get out and look at things other than your computer screens, and leave those people who actually work with, and care for animals, the hell alone!
Lots of Hamburger and Steak! Mmmmm. 😋
