Sex is one of the two (the other being money) primary reasons by a LOT that marriages fail. To leave that completely unexplored and up to chance before marriage is only inviting disaster.

I think I missed the point. I think I was trying to fill a void (no love or affection as a child). All of the men in my family (father, grandpa, uncles, cousin) die around 48-60 so at 52 I’m not feeling too great about things. Was always good looking, but now I’m a old, gray, chubby grandpa.

Depending on how she was raised, she might not have known anything. I have read more than one article describing couples who thought that “sleeping together “ literally meant just sleeping in the same bed. Strict religious upbringing combined with no education on human biology equals no knowledge.

No sex before marriage is a terrible policy that dooms many marriages from the very beginning.
Statically this isn’t true at all at all. Studies show that the lower number of sexual partners you have, the longer your relationship lasts, and the happier you are.

Sex isn’t something to be ashamed about, it is a gift. A gift from God to married couples. You confess to God for forgiveness, and should it warrant, your trustworthy community for support.
Edit: This comment wasn’t meant to shame those who had sex before or experimented. I should have made it clear that it was a correction to a story in the video. Confessing to a priest or what have you is simply not needed, as the gap between man and God. I respect your opinion though, other people’s bedroom choices are not my business

No it’s a gift from Biology and evolution sir. Obviously due to the release of several different chemicals (dopamine, endorphins and oxytocin) it’s something we enjoy. Most marriages fail due to either money or problems in the bedroom. It is INCREDIBLY stupid to MARRY someone before exploring if you are compatible in the bedroom. If someone is left unsatisfied, then it’s only a matter of time before the marriage fails.

That he set in motion the evolutionary process of animals that changed over time (though I do deny that we are evolved from apes and the such).
