- Down Down version 2024 avec une intro inoubliable de Francis Rossi qui a fêté ses 75 ans il y a quelques mois.
Un moment magique qui a enflammé le public de Guitare en Scène et qui a comblé les fans.

Just seen them at Elgin the other day. Rossi is 75! I thought it was brilliant. Have been seeing them live since 82! Give the guy a break! Saw the frantic four as well. All versions have been great.

Can’t get over the Kemper in a Marshall housing, never seen that before. Then again, their guitar sound is so Marshall, why do they even need it ?
lol First thing I noticed. No cabs miced up too or even look switched on. Heads and cabs look awesome but probably aesthetic which is cool too, looks authentic for the stage set but these days of digital quite understandable. I love my heads and cabs but am also a Fractal lad and they are so close to authentic without the hassle of running mics for FOH.

Néanmoins, dans un set de seulement 70 minutes, j'aurais préféré une version "normale" de Down Down à St Julien.
Cela aurait laissé la possibilité à Quo de jouer In my chair.

pour ma part, j'ai quand même bien aimé ce moment d'échange de F.Rossi avec son public.
et oui, c'est passé trop vite et vous avez raison: il a manqué un rappel pour finir en beauté.
Certes, certains ne sont plus très jeunes, mais quand on voit gambader Andy (le plus agé), Rhino ou même Francis, on ne peut que rester sur sa faim avec ces mini shows de 1h15 max désormais.

When Coghlan and Lancaster left the Band in the early/mid 80's that was the end of QUO.
The current line-up is a cheap imitation.

Coughlan were drunk as they fired him, lancaster was bitter about the direction they went so they carry on...reunited 2013 and 2014.
2016 rick were gone, some years later lancaster, andy bown still is there since 1976, so what is wrong with your arguments?

It was not the end of SQ as Coghlan and Lancaster left the band. Look exactly at the concert statistics between 1986 and 2000 for England. Any questions?
You can copy and paste the same comment as many times as you want. It doesn't change the fact that you are wrong on every level. Coghlan quit before he was fired for drinking. Lancaster was a bigger egotists than Rossi ever was and threw a hissy fit and quit because he couldn't have his own way and Rick self confessed many times that he wanted to quit before tragedy struck.
Rhino(39 years) and Andy(48 years) have been with the band for longer than either Coghlan(24 years) or Lancaster(25 years) were in total. So that's your argument shot down in flames. Rossi's ego only hurt SO CALLED fans like you. Nobody forces you to listen or watch if you hate it that much, but you feel the need to comment anyway.
