nice! A suggestion would be to stain the drawers before you add the trim. that way you wouldn't have the build up and struggle trying to blend it out. You can also get that trim work pre-stained to look like wood already so you wouldn't have to try and stain the pieces yourself. The trim work itself is very inexpensive to start with, whether white or pre stained that the difference in cost would be negligible. In the long run it would save time and look even nicer. :)
Adding the molding instantly made the shoe cabinet look more substantial and pricey! While I’m personally not a fan of the two tone look, yours turned out better than any other I’ve seen. Adding it to your entryway made it look more inviting and homey, especially after you styled it! Great job!
What a difference this shoe cabinet and the accessories made to the corner. I love the faux wood finish and the handles. It just elevates the piece and makes it unique. ❤
I enjoy watching your videos. I wish I have the confidence like you to start DIYing. I have lost of power tools and I do make small things but nothing as elaborate like you. Way to go girl.
I think it will also look a little more expensive if you can slide it down the wall a couple inches so it's more centered on the space between the door to the right and the corner. You already elevated this piece more than I could have imagined!
This project is amazing and gorgeous! At the end I was like oh it would be cool to angle it in between the walls and make the counter extended and have it open for extra space for umbrellas or wrapping paper
You just brought all those elements in and knocked it out of the ballpark! Barrister's shelf meets modern day fusion and then you added the bun feet. Great job!!! I love the drawer pulls. . I never doubt that you'll pull it off, I just don't have your vision, and I just love seeing how it all comes together in the end. ☺
I love this!!❤ It really did help me problem solve a small area I have where shoes tend to pile up and maybe use the bottom drawer to hide some wires from our router. Beautiful job!
This worked so well! I experimented with this several years ago when I painted my kitchen cabinets. They were the ugly yellow oak veneer (very cheap looking) and I painted them to look more like mahogany to match the freestanding island I'd purchased. I actually found that using a little sponge I was able to add "knots" in the wood to give it even more wood texture. It was totally an experiment, but I was so happy with the result! Now I want to redo them again to be less red, and I can't decide whether to go with wood look again or choose a paint colour. Thanks for sharing your project - I love the idea of using the dry brush! If I do it again I'm going to use that technique!
Oh Tina,,,,,love how you styled the shoe cabinet . That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for on IKEA. But I’ll keep looking on Facebook Marketplace. You are very clever!
I love to watch black sheep house. This is amazing. Been looking at doing something like this to my kitchen cabinets and could not find anything to reference. Omg Tina!!! I’m doing this now ❤❤
I absolutely love the shoe cabinet you DIYed. I have been trying to decide what to do about our shoes by the front door and then I saw your video! I love how the black looks with the wood and the gold brass handles! Thank you.
This looks amazing! I did something similar. Did more of a shaker style “updo” and did each piece individually and only glued. Gave me seamless “wood grain” & since I didn’t nail anything, I didn’t need to fill anything & could go this approach.
It’s mind blowing how much like wood the fronts look! 🤯 What a great little hack, it’s looking so good and really functional as well 🤩 I always gravitate towards darker wood but the lighter colour was better for sure! Awesome job 🥳🫶🏻
I just watched your video for the first time and I absolutely love it!!! Thank you so much for sharing, I just subscribed. I have been wanting to learn about using gel pain and wood faux paint and watching you just opened up a huge world for me as I am planning on using this kind of pain for some metal window frames and some doors in our apartment. Thank you so much, love what you did. Great job!
Beautiful hair! Amazing results with the cabinet!! and maybe just add a small little decorative “lipstick check” 😉 mirror above it to finish off the decor. Love the hooks there too.
TINA!! WOW! Something so simple and you made it look so expensive! The two toned makes the "wood-grain" pop even more as it is not blended into the rest of the unit. That process is just amazing! Those feet - so cute! I want them. I keep thinking where could I use this?? I only have maybe 2" behind the front door, so something that size would not work, but someplace elsewhere. I've never seen an IKEA shoe cabinet that tall. Anywho! Once again, you hit it out-of-the-park! You are such a creative genuis! By the way - your hair is gorgeous!!! Those curls and add volume - so enhancing! Hope Brian is feeling better very soon! Would love to see his reaction to this corner. MERRY CHRISTMAS! HE IS BORN! Luke 2:10-14 Without Christ, there is no Christ-mas!!
Shoe cabinet looks amazing! I tried this same technique recently (using the same gel stain), but the stain basically just wiped completely off after about 14 hours of dry time! When staining over paint does it take significantly longer to dry? Thanks for any help you can offer!
If you can hang things on the wall I’d hang that painting/print like an inch above the shoe guy and it would be fully chefs kiss! Very nice upgrade and use of space
Your hair is always shiny and lovely… but it’s extra gorgeous today!
This is so sweet, thank you!! 💛
Indeed ❤
Always impressed with your creativity and your DIY skill, but girl your hair looks absolutely beautiful. Can we all take a moment to say “WOW” 😮! ❤❤
I was thinking the same thing!
Wow!!!

Hello Tina let me first say that your hair looks amazing, and the shoe cabinet turned out really awesome. 🙏🏾🥰💖💯💫🎄
You did such a great job! Love the paint 2-tone effect with the knob. and feet upgrade. Excellent!
It says you need two people, "I can do this myself though"; of course you can, you're TINA LE!!!
That cabinet is fabulous … the shoe cabinet turned out so well!! ❤
Tina, this is one of the most attractive items you have flipped. Love it.
Our home is looking like A HOME! So proud of your creative DIYs and I love you!
I love that this looks like such a legit piece of furniture, what a great upgrade! Shoe corners can be the worst, this is a great solution!
Thank you so much!! 💛
I have to say I'm a perfectionist when it comes to painting.

Your hair is so pretty curled! Also the cabinet came out beautifully! Great job as always Tina❤
What a difference this shoe cabinet and the accessories made to the corner. I love the faux wood finish and the handles. It just elevates the piece and makes it unique. ❤
You make everything look so easy! You nailed it again! ❤️

The shoe cabinet looks expensive! It turned out beautiful, Tina! 👍🏼
Thank you so much, Jenny! I'm sooo happy with it 💛
All I can say to Tina is you are really born with a gifted talent you can take any piece of wood and turn it into an excellent piece of furniture 👏🏿
I think it will also look a little more expensive if you can slide it down the wall a couple inches so it's more centered on the space between the door to the right and the corner. You already elevated this piece more than I could have imagined!
Your shoe cabinet looks amazing!!

Omg Tina that looks Beautiful!!! Also your hair is looking fabulous!!!!
Tina,
I don't know what you're doing, but you are glowing!!! I also love the DIY shoe cabinet. I had some doubts, but it turned out beautifully.
Thank you so much!! 💛
Usually, when women are glowing, it means they will, in nine months or so, be too busy to film a vlog!

I never doubt that you'll pull it off, I just don't have your vision, and I just love seeing how it all comes together in the end. ☺
Love your curls 😊 the shoe rack came out beautiful ❤sending love from South Africa
Thank you so much, Mishka!! 💛

Fantastic result! I've found your tips on "faux woodgrain" painting and stain so very helpful.
It adds depth to the corner space. Looks great
Oh Tina,,,,,love how you styled the shoe cabinet . That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for on IKEA. But I’ll keep looking on Facebook Marketplace. You are very clever!
Very classy shoe storage, Tina, you’re hitting them out of the park!

Everything is so cute!
Yesss I love it. I have the IKEA shoe cabinet and I’m going to put in the feet!!!! I have the courage now to try the faux wood look!!!! Thank you!!!!
I absolutely love the shoe cabinet you DIYed. I have been trying to decide what to do about our shoes by the front door and then I saw your video! I love how the black looks with the wood and the gold brass handles! Thank you.
Tina, I’m with you. I’m totally a lazy painter. Make it nice where people can see, but “good enough” is fine in the more hidden spots.
This looks amazing! I did something similar. Did more of a shaker style “updo” and did each piece individually and only glued. Gave me seamless “wood grain” & since I didn’t nail anything, I didn’t need to fill anything & could go this approach.

If you can hang things on the wall I’d hang that painting/print like an inch above the shoe guy and it would be fully chefs kiss! Very nice upgrade and use of space
Did you attach it to the wall to keep heavier shoes from pulling it over when the drawer is opened? Love the paint/stain/handle combo.
Of course you could do it 💪🏼 💪🏼💪🏼. Ummm hello the hair is extra gorg today. The cabinet turned out fantastic 👏🏼
You are genius!
