    Guys, please please PLEASE consult with a licensed health professional before putting yourself on a bunch of supplements. Supplements only help if you’re deficient in those nutrients, and it is possible to cause harm by overdosing. If you’re having digestive issues, it could be anything from food intolerances to gallbladder issues to intestinal infections. Seriously, CONSULT A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL to rule out other issues and to be sure you’re taking the right amount of supplements if you do need them.

      I also wonder how those Plexis supplements even work. Seems like they create a dependency (at least for his girl) and once she stopped using them she immediately had UTI? If Plexis was really helping her, wouldn’t the effect lasted for some time?

      THIS!!! I had been using wayyy too many supplements. Started having digestive issues and then met with a dietician and found out I was gluten, dairy, and caffeine sensitive. Google is not your doctor- a doc is.

      @@Jennydear12 it is more concerning about untested supplements because it has supplements that are not tested in a peer medicine research evaluation like green tea extract or garcinia so they are untested supplements. Usually there is medical support for them . Doctors will prescribe daily multivitamins to you if you need extra supplements like vitamin d or e . Some supplements are stored in fat like Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Vitamin D. If you are Vitamin D insufficient a doctor will prescribe prescription Vitamin D that is much higher than what you buy over the counter. Fat soluble vitamins can live to liver toxicity . That is why it’s much safer to talk to your doctor .

    Fun fact: it is very hard to keep probiotic alive in skincare. They will have to have smaller percentage of preservatives which will keep the product at higher risk of bacteria and fungus growth. Since this product also has acidic ingredients, I highly doubt the probiotics are alive... it’s marketing tactic.

    • @martabanasiewicz6353
      @martabanasiewicz6353 2 года назад +11

      Since it’s MLM company I would assume that probiotic bacterias are dead since 2015 and all bacterias in the product are the result of poor manufacture quality.

      I agree with this to an extent, but some vitamins can be beneficial if you’re not deficient in them, and doctors rarely test for vitamin deficiencies or mineral deficiencies. They’ll literally just tell you to try a supplement and see if it helps. There are just a handful of common supplements that can be harmful in large doses. With most of them, you’ll be wasting your money but not actually affecting your help.

    • @sarahbellum380
      @sarahbellum380 Год назад

      For example you won’t ever get tested to see if omega 3 is beneficial for you. It’s just “take it and see if it helps.” And it does help many people.

    That’s correct- about the lactic acid and other ingredients making skin more susceptible to sun damage. I just want to point out another aspect of nonsense. The fact that these products are so expensive, yet never list the amount of active ingredients. The amounts are usually so minute as to be useless.

  • @Cee944
    @Cee944 3 года назад +36

    Supplements and vitamins are not the same as prescription medication. If I don't take my lexapro, I get withdrawals. If I don't take biotin one day, I just missed a day lol. Your body shouldn't have that big of a reaction to not taking supplements, especially when your medical staff has you on medication...like wtf?

    • @BasilissaKleo
      @BasilissaKleo 4 месяца назад +1

      I have calcium deficiency. I sometimes need to take supplements because I have crisis (dizziness, irritation, etc) but I can do without it most of the time, by just eating more milk based products than the average person. But yeah, it does not compare to true medication. I have an anxiety disorder and need treatment for now. If I don't take it more than three days, I feel withdrawal symptoms. I'm angry to see those people comparing supplements to true medication. Plus, supplements shouldn't make the body react badly when their fabrication is controlled and the taking supervised by a physician.

    It astounds me how these huns are the first to condemn those who take actual medication for mental health issues, and yet go around talking about how impossible it would be for them to live without an MLM vitamin or supplement. I'll spend a good amount of money on skincare when I know the brand is good, I've seen the results, and my esthetician agrees. For example, I use La Roche Posay face sunscreen and cream, but also use a Vanicream bar cleanser and lubriderm on my body. Not every product needs to be expensive, it just needs to make sense for your routine. And I truly can't imagine using one brand for every product on and in my body 🤦‍♀️

    And Right off the bat I was laughing at the first clip… 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
    Coming from a esthetician…you hit the point I was going to say with the other ingredients that can cause the skin to become sensitive.
    -She’s just throwing out trending ingredient words like hyaluronic acid to make it sound good.. 😑 ughh I get the occasional client who is a R&F / Monat/ Arbonne person and have to usually hold my words when they “love the natural products they use” …. 🤔

First off they claim that the body care is “great” for sensitive skin meanwhile it has fragrance 🫠 and I have really sensitive skin. so I tried it anyway and the body wash made my back burned and irritated cause during that time I recently got a back tattoo. The lotion body scrub and serum were 👎🏻 the only product from there line that was UNSCENTED was the body serum. Overall it’s expensive and not worth it at all especially if your somebody that has sensitive skin I do not recommend it

    I’m very confused. She’s “obsessed with skin care,” but the idea of “skin care for my BODY!!??” Is such a fascinating novelty to her? Has she never used lotion on her body before, really?
    And I am a firm believer in oils for moisturizing-I have dry, sensitive skin, and a few years ago I started using borage and/or avocado oil on my face, because the winter wind was making my t-zone flaky and irritated. I’d wash my face, wipe off the excess water with my hands, and then apply the oil on my still-damp face. It cleared up the redness and flakiness within a few days, and that’s been my winter skin care routine ever since. So I definitely agree that oils can work great. (I also use monoi tiki oil on my body year-round, and I love it and it smells fantastic.) But. That’s coconut oil, borage oil, monoi oil. It’s not essential oils!! (Citrus oils can be incredibly irritating for sensitive skin, too, btw.) The only undiluted essential oil I have ever put on my face is tea tree on a pimple. And even that I did sparingly (it worked, but once a day was more than enough).

Hang on, if in a few years mlms cease to exist and are forced to adopt a different model such as being on shop shelves or selling directly from their website and removing the social selling part and all the hunbots are made to leave, are they not gonna then go back to some sort of corporate type employment? It's funny that you said no one says the products from their MLM suck. Lol. When I was doing Beachbody, I signed up as a coach for the discount but I refused to push it. If someone would ask me about it I would answer honestly. If they said the workouts were too expensive, then find some way to exercise you enjoy: walking, dancing, go to the gym etc. If the shakes were expensive: the shakes don't really make you lose weight but they can help you feel full without as many calories. They can be replaced with a generic protein shake. Don't want to pay for the whole program for the portion control containers? They sell similar ones at Walmart for a lot less. (The portion control is actually good for people like me who normally would just eat mostly carbs to balance their diet and people at the higher weight spectrum. Once you are in the lower end, the portions are too restrictive) but you can also do the plate division trick (half vegetables, 1/4 protein, 1/4 carbs or something like that). My coach dropped me faster than a hot potato when she realized I wasn't going to make her money

    Can we also talk about the fact that hyaluronic acid us great because it pulls water from the air you are in (think in the foggy bathroom after the shower). BUT if there's no water in the air, where do you think it pulls the water from? The deeper layers of your own skin! So just be aware when using these products, because if the area you live in is dry then you're just sucking more moisture out of your skin in the long run.

People would get paid like $100 cash per month and $100 worth of vouchers for the "Company Store". The store was owned by the mining company so these workers would get $100 worth of vouchers that they would then give back to the company.
    This is what I think about when I hear about MLMs.
