@@raizencore well yes and no. i think the side armor is also broken AF. it has saved me countless times is ridicolous and also, while playing against BVMS it has stopped top tier rounds soo many times. Frontal armour layout is also the second best in the game, right after the strv122. Now add a fantastic round, fantastic mobility, good sights and there u go, best MBT in game which in my opinion needs a nerf (IMO). truly is a brainoff playstyle. i found it great at the beginning then it just got boring ngl.

@@toknode331 I have the STRV 122 series of tanks and I play them way more cautiously than the T80 U on the Swedish tech tree. T80U platform performs better than the Leopard 2's just on a base level. T80U's are just so torquey the acceleration negates the reverse speed; they all are way better than STRV122.
If only my games looked like this, with enemy tanks looking at the opposite direction while stationary. Most of the time I get one shot from the other side of the map.

That first kill on the brams hurts. Any hit on the hull just bounces into the mantlet or insanely large turret ring. Might as well not even bounce in the first place.
Yeah, 122's are better in a lot of aspects. Actual gun depression, better survivability, no weak spot on upper front plate, no ammo ring, better reverse, etc.
Major difference is that 122 needs players with skill while BVM could be played by newbees and wipe the whole team, thanks to totally not broken kontakt5 and broken interrior shell shattering.

Ngl, i used to be a die hard Russian main. My KDR on the BVM is quite nice over the last 4 months being around 2.7 compared to the global average of around 2.05. but after i grinded Sweden and got the 122s? Man are they so much better... The best turret in the game.. an actual reverse speed, actual decent armor, and most importantly.. my reload is faster than all T80s at a nice 6.36s expert.. 6s aced. T80BVM went from an absolute S tier MBT to something like a C+ tier. With 122 being S+ 122>>>>>BVM.

The T-80BVM is an excellent top tier tank I like it a lot i have experience with the abrams and leo2A5 the leo is good the abrams is awful but the bvm never let me down its amazing especialy with the pantsir and the other t80s and ka50 id say its either one of the or the best top tier lineup
The very strong frontal and side armour, high(est) mobility, good reload, and quiet engine very much invalidate the low reverse speed and not so great depression. Who needs depression when you dont need to hide or be in the best posistions and ypu just zip across the map.
So ridiculous. My Steam review will always stay negative due to Gaijin not being able/willing to balance their game. I will never recommend this to anyone ever due to this issue. And I will never, ever try another Gaijin game, no matter what free/cool stuff they give to their current player base.
Seeing this tank and the fact i mained brits to toptier, the fed up brits toptier by giving them few choices and bad ones at that. Then seeing this thing at the other end... the fucked russia up by giving them many many very good choises.
I would say it's the best of the top tier mbts, not nesseceraly OP. Top tier Russia is so good at top tier because of their solid line up, especially Pantsir. Allied players are so used to the CAS crutch, they get smoked when met with even a half decent Pantsir player.

Russia is producing t-80 > t-90 not “restarting production from scratch.” T-80 has seen the best performance and is the most liked amongst Russian tankers. T-Series Soviet MBTS aren’t horrible & against most conventional AT weapons they are actually incredibly effective. Frontally they can withstand most direct strike infantry level AT weapons & have seen lots of footage of them surviving ATGMs frontally, but we have to admit that top down munitions & guided FPV drones are just a completely different ball game. Infantry don’t have the luxury of hovering over a tank and perfectly striking it in its weakest zone & most tanks were not designed with this kind of threat in mind. TLDR; No tank < A tank. FPV drones + guided precision munitions make any tanker sad.

The problem with nato tank is the hull armor (except 122)in general and the strategy to use the maximum potential, nato tank more defensive tank using hull down tactics so while bvm push many nato player cannot fight it in brawl coz hull armor and trolly turret. And you re correct only russia have the good mbt, best aa, best heli and good cas plane
The nato tanks have really big weak spots, the fact that France is really good I like it a lot. But the bvm it’s better in some aspects, the weak spots from the front are not that big so enemy’s have to take more time to place their shot, while you pretty much blind fire to a nato tank and you’ll pen it
Leclercs still should have more armor like a lot of other MBTs, or atleast reload buff (for merkavas too) and new shells, but to be honest theres should be armor buff/fix for all MBTs so all MBTs should have armor and u need to aim properly not just pray and spray (its still works most of time) like in russians tanks, for example look at steel beasts values, those MBTs armor values are at first not realistic, at second not balanced, its should be like in old times that all MBTs have some more than 50% space which cant be penned and that was still less than ruskies have.@@kirshenbaumPlays

You have to remember he only uploads the best games. If you watch his streams he also has many bad games.
It really is alot about positioning. There are games I think I play against Bots and there are games where I press "w" and die 😂

Not bvm, but 90m. It would be slower and without reverse speed and reload rate 7.1, but it would have better fcs with better armour.

The T-80BVM is an excellent top tier tank I like it a lot i have experience with the abrams and leo2A5 the leo is good the abrams is awful but the bvm never let me down its amazing especialy with the pantsir and the other t80s and ka50 id say its either one of the or the best top tier lineup
The very strong frontal and side armour, high(est) mobility, good reload, and quiet engine very much invalidate the low reverse speed and not so great depression. Who needs depression when you dont need to hide or be in the best posistions and ypu just zip across the map.
So ridiculous. My Steam review will always stay negative due to Gaijin not being able/willing to balance their game. I will never recommend this to anyone ever due to this issue. And I will never, ever try another Gaijin game, no matter what free/cool stuff they give to their current player base.

Seeing this tank and the fact i mained brits to toptier, the fed up brits toptier by giving them few choices and bad ones at that. Then seeing this thing at the other end... the fucked russia up by giving them many many very good choises.

I would say it's the best of the top tier mbts, not nesseceraly OP. Top tier Russia is so good at top tier because of their solid line up, especially Pantsir. Allied players are so used to the CAS crutch, they get smoked when met with even a half decent Pantsir player.
No, it's because the tanks have the wrong spall effect in the coding. The tanks are coded to not spall the same.

@@mr.waffentrager4400 i dont see anything why the T80 performs better than the Leo 2. The turrets are flying to the moon after one fpv drone while leo 2s only catch fire and the blow up panel works perfectly.

Russia is producing t-80 > t-90 not “restarting production from scratch.” T-80 has seen the best performance and is the most liked amongst Russian tankers. T-Series Soviet MBTS aren’t horrible & against most conventional AT weapons they are actually incredibly effective. Frontally they can withstand most direct strike infantry level AT weapons & have seen lots of footage of them surviving ATGMs frontally, but we have to admit that top down munitions & guided FPV drones are just a completely different ball game. Infantry don’t have the luxury of hovering over a tank and perfectly striking it in its weakest zone & most tanks were not designed with this kind of threat in mind.
TLDR; No tank < A tank. FPV drones + guided precision munitions make any tanker sad.

most carousel explosions happen after the the tank catches fire and the crew has left, literally stopping ukranian tractors from stealing it.

Russian tanks are artificially stronger than the other tanks in the game, I was talking to some friends, the French nation has the best vehicles technically speaking, thermal vision, 6 second reloading, fast reverse speed, very good CAS
Even with all this, they are far from being the best tank nation, not to mention Israel which is rubbish and the British...
The problem with nato tank is the hull armor (except 122)in general and the strategy to use the maximum potential, nato tank more defensive tank using hull down tactics so while bvm push many nato player cannot fight it in brawl coz hull armor and trolly turret. And you re correct only russia have the good mbt, best aa, best heli and good cas plane
The nato tanks have really big weak spots, the fact that France is really good I like it a lot. But the bvm it’s better in some aspects, the weak spots from the front are not that big so enemy’s have to take more time to place their shot, while you pretty much blind fire to a nato tank and you’ll pen it
Leclercs still should have more armor like a lot of other MBTs, or atleast reload buff (for merkavas too) and new shells, but to be honest theres should be armor buff/fix for all MBTs so all MBTs should have armor and u need to aim properly not just pray and spray (its still works most of time) like in russians tanks, for example look at steel beasts values, those MBTs armor values are at first not realistic, at second not balanced, its should be like in old times that all MBTs have some more than 50% space which cant be penned and that was still less than ruskies have.@@kirshenbaumPlays
