We Explored The Abandoned Middlesbrough Nature's World With Botanic Gardens - Abandoned Places UK

- Recently I explored the abandoned Nature's World in Middlesbrough. Personally, I cannot believe such a place now lies abandoned but it was definitely a different type of explore for sure.
Once described as ‘the North of England’s pioneering eco-experience', at its peak Nature's World attracted an average of over 29,000 visitors a year.
The 26-acre site contained over 100 different interactive features and exhibits focusing on issues such as energy generation, recycling and reusing waste, organic gardening, green transport, biodiversity, and habitat conservation.
However, due to a decline in visitor numbers and rising costs, Nature’s World went into administration and closed to the public in 2013.
Once a year volunteers that love the place go and maintain some of the areas of the gardens for special events but the future of this place still remains uncertain.

So much nostalgia. God, i’d love to go back. One thing sticks in my mind, however, about a replica of the steam locomotive ‘Locomotion No. 1’ from Darlington. I’ve got no idea what happened to it, if its still there, or even where it would have been, and i found a photo of it, which proves that i didnt just imagine it.
My boss recommended this video. That's how impressed he was. It's clearly still maintained to some extent. Happy hunting. Key moments "I'm stuck", "who's poo is that" and "I'm lost". Many Urbex adventures probably feature those phrases.
Aha, always the most common phrases lol. I'm glad you enjoyed my dude
Enjoyed this, but If you're planning on exploring here please go on a weekend or after 15:00 .. nextdoor is a school which is for learning disabilities and with the alarm going of it could trigger a sensory overload.
Keep up the content 😃
Ahh agreed people need to be mindful tbh when we went did not realise the alarm was so loud but we did do this on a Sunday :)

@@keithfletcher5024 type in originalmrmicky or mr micky urbex should come up
I work on this site every day as do several other businesses, you know this as you coudnt reach that totaly boarded up buiding without passing a fully working large office. If it was 'open at multiple points' then why did you need to drop down 8ft into it from a window, that 'luckily' was open that day ?
We could of gone around so same thing and not luckily open the same day it was open the same day as we knew others had been so not my fault it was not sealed and massive holes I the roof of it 🙄 anyway not going to argue- I have broke no laws and done nothing wrong simply seal up the building and put up a camera or some maybe motion sensored 🤷
@@BeardedRealityIgnore them mate I work on site and that window has been open for 8 months as another comment stated.
@user-kl6rj1wl5g ahh i am not bothered I know I haven't and the others haven't broken any laws so all is chill - cheers my dude
Really, who do you work for Gary ?
@BeardedReality is the site abandoned as you clearly say several times in ya video ? 'Dude'
I support you 100%❤
Much love beverley onwards and upwards 👌
Can't believe you went out that way and not the way you went in what a joke of an explorer you are now you have messed it up for the rest of us explorers as now it's been fully boarded up
🤣🤣 place has been left for years you have had your chance -and there are other ways in nor gonna reclimb out something when I can open a door 🤣🤣
"Abandoned' ??? This site has about 15 businesses or groups operating from it daily, also the building you went into is always secure so you have broken in , grow up and stop playing Indiana Jones lads.
The place is closed down and has been for years at least the parts we filmed the building we entered was already open from multiple points which we showed as again we were not the first people to go here so no breaking in occurred from us thank you very much
Wrong. That same window has been open for 8 months.
@@MiddlesbroughStuffno it isn't.
@@N.A-yw4srget your facts right I work on the site and I have flagged this up with MBC many times, it still remains open and insecure
