Fashion Show - Chanel: Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear

Chanel has always been a favorite of mine since childhood. My grandmother saved years of hard earned money to take a trip to Paris just to buy at least ONE item from the Chanel store she visited and came back with this beautiful hair clip and ring. She always smelled of Chanel No.05 and I even have a tattoo of the Chanel logo on a black widow replacing the hourglass a widow usually has in memory of her. I hope this shows others that a designers line in fashion is more than odd expensive items.

i luv luv luv Chanel....i wish i could afford it; it has been the only brand that i have never not liked. Other brands tend to change so much but Chanel is always classic
really nice, im soooo happy that there is less white and black, a nice change
chanel runways are my favorite. they go way past models just walking down a runway i remember there was even a chanel show that had a merry go round. the clothes are always timeless, too

Since the economic crisis, there's two kinds of collections: the austere, serious ones, designed to accept the financial scene with not pessimism, but minimalism.
The others are the provocative ones, who stand face to face to that cloudy weather we call bad economy.
It's obvious Chanel stayed with the basics, but did it with a remarkable elegance, no doubt.

@goldenfilly LOL exactly, then they end up coming out w/a line and have a ghost designer doing all of the work!! I hate when they (rappers/singers/actors) take away fr. true designers who love their craft just to turn a buck/cash in on their noteriety/15 mins. of fame!!!!

i know collars are fashionable now but lagerfield needs to be careful...a lot of them look like neck braces--too big and thick
