Tupac and Madonna were so major in those years. No surprise they linked up and had a hot affair. Two powerful creators. Seems like it was sincere and respectful from both sides.
I met my kids dad in the 90s and it was a huge problem for me. My family and friends all stopped associating with me, still over 20 years later I am not part of that family. Also, I was kidnapped by the kkk, they took out in the middle of nowhere, they beat me badly and left me ina cemetery. So I just wanted to make known as a white woman, making the choice to see past color in the 90s was a very big sacrifice. I wouldn't change it tho, I feel like racism is wrong and I went the opposite direction. My life has been happy, and I have beautiful children and grandchildren who are my family now (my husband passed away in 2020)

As a black man, if I'm going to be about black consciousness, if I'm about lifting up black people, then it has to start with lifting up the black woman. It's a little contradicting to date anything other than a black woman, unless you're a black conservative or you're just "taking black." Black men tend to date outside our race more than any other race. Why is that? Is it because we see beyond race, or is because we don't value our sistas the way we should. Only she can truly understand our struggles. You don't see a lot of white, asian or latino men dating outside of their race.

I don't think the notion of Pac dating a white women was really the issue. The problem was it was Madonna.
Even in the letter PAC was speaking on his image and how he created this image of empowering blk ppl and he thinks ppl wouldn’t take it the right way…..it’s kinda sad how he felt he had to live up to the image that ppl set for him and for the most part that was okay but the sad part is it affected even who he wanted to love or he wanted to be around…

Tupac and Madonna had a brief casual relationship. They messed around while he was recording songs for her album (that weren't even included). Tupac never claimed Madonna as a girlfriend. He spoke favorable as a friend. He was a womanizer. There are many stories of his sexual escapades. Madonna has gone through her roster of men, but in the 90s she was desperate to settle down and have a baby. She even tried to get pregnant by Dennis Rodman in 1994. She also dated a drug dealer named Peter Shue, Haitian Jack, Brian Shaw, and DeVante Swing around this time. Tupac had girlfriend that he married in 1995, Keisha Morris. Their marriage was annulled less than a year later.

Rosie Perez said she introduced them at the 1993 Soul Train awards but she meant 1994. Madonna attended the the show in 1994 with Rosie. Tupac and Madonna were only seen together in March/April 1994. Madonna soon moved on to Dennis Rodman who she met in April 1994. Tupac began dating Keisha Morris in the summer of 1994 and they got married in 1995. Their marriage was annulled after 10 months.

She is also rumored to be bisexual. Tupac didn't know Madonna before he was famous so she can't be Woman B and she definitely wasn't Woman A. Tupac's cousin said he wanted to marry Jada while he was in prison but he ended up marrying Keisha.
Wasn't nothing wrong with dating a white women. The only issue is if your in love with a women and love that women a lot than color shouldn't be that important. Personally I think there should be a good reason for something like this. It should have a more better principle.

That dude lives in a bubble. The civil rights movement changed laws…not attitudes. Up until the 90s, interracial relationships were still taboo. Things started to open up in the 90s. Now it’s not a big deal in most places but outside of CA, interracial relationships were still a big deal. Pac would have been fine socially since he was a celebrity however, he would have alienated his black female fans and his black power types. Madonna, everyone knew she liked chocolate so it would not have changed anything for her.
