What I hate about No Mercy difficulty is the enemies' defense has a lot of modifiers like resurrection, healing and permanent immunity. I haven't even passed the first stage since the final boss is OP and the enemies for the final boss are Assassin's Creed, Love-Crafted, and Model Leader, which is very unlucky for me.

I just finished No Mercy legit about almost 30 min. Was pretty rough ngl. Nice to see that others can struggle on this mode. This provided the challenge I was looking for that wasnt rift. Hope you enjoyed the challenge this provided.
This game mode sent me to God and back to Earth. I had a biting cold (with tainted blood), death wish and unholy host as my final node. the regen and immunity just added to my misery. It was all going well, I was putting hex on the death wish with mine until SUDDENLY, IT WAS I, THE FOOL, WHO GOT HEXED. In summary, I was humbled today and I will not be attempting No Mercy until next year. For my account, Nightmare was easy but No Mercy was a bit of a difficulty jump for me and I have been level 70 for about a year now.
Yeah,you bet they weren't kidding when said that this was for an endgame players. Requires a great experience in interception and precise team for the win.
My djinn frizz died the level before the last boss node. I did not have the DPS to beat it as there was an Immoral Fiber, and after I killed it there was an unbeatable blue screen, with an overclocked after it. I did not beat the blue screen EVER. I couldn't do anything, she had permanent immunity, constant armor, constant healing, and even if I killed her she would be revived. She also had like a 7 seconds cooldown burst so, yeah I'm gonna hope for an easier team tomorrow.
If you wanna breeze through master bro get a phantom threads that’s it I had surgeon general just in case but Fukua will typically be at either full or near full by the end of each match
Thrill Shrieker has a justifiable use case in this game mode, at least for the boss nodes. The 50% hp shave is very helpful when the enemy has 1600% + more hp. Repeated outtakes make quick work of that huge health pool. Presence of Aeon is super helpful, especially on Snake Bite. Adding Flash Bang to that makes most fights very, very safe from personal experience.
I finished NIGHTMARE in split screen mode , RUclips on top and sgm on the bottom. Ngl it was easy, and i was a fool to think NO MERCY would be hard but not impossible. It didn't just beat me, it broke both physically and mentally.
My No Mercy run was going fine... until the last node gave me a Biting Cold whose MA and dancing around it was the cause of most of my character deaths. I mentioned it before, but I F***ing hate Tainted Blood with a burning passion and I wish to see it nerfed harder than Unholy Host!
You had pretty good boss nodes. For me the first boss node was AG, Death wish, and UH. I don’t remember the second boss node. And the last boss node I got a Immortal Fiber, Evergreen evil, and Dark might. Only won due to X-bot being able to hit more then 5% due to precision hits.

Exactly…it’s just incredibly hard and frustrating. Like what’s the point of playing if the fighters just have constant regen stacks, perma immunity, revival, Hp in the hundred thousands, atk in the high thousands…it’s just purely frustrating and it’s not fun at all
Zeow: stressing about the final boss nodes and stuff Me: this boss can be Neuro cycled lol Granted not every boss or path fight the game can throw at you can be Neuro cycled but I feel it's a very powerful strategy for anything that doesn't need specific utility as Neuro is incredibly safe since the AI doesn't get to play at all once the cycle starts (X-Bot may be doing absurd damage when she is going but the opponent can still play). Miasma variants are also being slept on a bit, once again not a speed run type option but they are damage over time that gets around the immunity that is everywhere and are also sustainable with the healing.
True yeah! TFC with a low attack Filia also seems like a valid strategy. Inflicting permanent bleeds before the immunity procs. There's also TThreat Invincibility DPillar spam that seems to be another cheese strat.
Risky only works if they are dashing, if they do the dash attack at any point, you won't get the enrage. So you won't even see the dash attack start and it still counts as a non-dash

I was lucky I had enough fighters to beat the mode but God does it make me fearful of Painwheels. ESPECIALLY because if you die while killing them from Tainted, YOU LOSE.

I thought the "no mercy" setting referred to the match modifiers and raw power level. But no. It referred to the utter pain and frustration of hoping for a fun run, only for the boss to spawn everything that reflects damage, reduces/negates damage, and prevents you from doing anything about it. Do i sound bothered? Because I swear i enjoy this new game mode. It encourages you to get wildly creative with solutions and overcome the most obnoxious of challenges without beating you down for failing. Even if you do fail, it doesn't cost you anything but some time to wait for the next realm to open. And although the whole thing can be done at a relatively low power point with some luck, it's rewarding all the same. So it's always worth trying.
My wifi isn't the best at the moment, it's so inconsistent. I can't do much about it unfortunately until I move to a different place at the end of the year. Sorry! :(
Damage reflect: The mode Seriously, the difficulty doesn't make a lot of sense. Everything has tons of health and defense, and regen like crazy, so the answer is to just brute force it, right? NO, everything deflects so much damage you can't even out-heal it, especially Painwheels and Robo Fortunes. That and every oponent has basically permanent immunity from the start of the match, so no bleeding or any kind of debuff is reliable at all. Some of the modifiers are complete bullahit if you get bad luck on boss nodes (like getting an infinitely reviving Death Wish like I did) It's just layers upon layers of artificial difficulty, and the cherry on top is... You need luck 2/10 has way too much damage reflected back at me

The near permanent immunity is what gets me the most though, it nullfiies so many possible strategies and forces you to try to brute force it, which is still really difficult with all the modifiers and painwheel nodes

Bro my No Mercy boss node had That light Umbrella, Dark Might and OVERCLOCKED. Absolute hell because of the infinite regen, and Stacks of damage recflect with Robo's prestige ability making the win almost impossible.

Zeow does a run of no mercy and gets to fight class cutter, beast king and x bot. Pretty tough, sure. But then I press play and every painwheel under the sun is a minion, and the boss is death wish, dreadlocks, and neuromancer. I hate this RNG.
I honest to god had fun on Master and Nightmare difficulties. I got thru the first several nodes on No Mercy, and then the game slapped me with Splitting Img, Model Leader and X-Bot on the boss node. Actual cancer. I will continue to say to this day, Splitting Img and Model Leader were a mistake and a half, and I’d personally like to see them nerfed to hell and back, especially Model Leader. Whoever said permanent auto-block was a good idea needs to rethink life choices.

I see all the nodes have random characters, for me in ch1 the boss node i got dark might, model leader and assassin's greed. It is statistically impossible,i killed dark might and model leader but assassin'sg keeps reviving her teammates, then i cant kill her and i die. My whole collection is dead, nobody can beat her. And i have a rather nice collection mostly made of attackers but still cant beat it
so the first boss I got was Evergreen Evil and she keeps on generating buffs and killing all of my team😭 how do I defeat her (the boss was Assassin Greed, Evergreen Evil, Biting cold but I got stuck on double)
You were lucky enough of not getting any PW, LC, SI, or A Greed nodes. A lot of people on SGM chat were tilted because those nodes were hell incarnated... _....and the modifiers were even worse: reflect, healing, perma inmunity and no more than 5% dmg and aome othwr nasties I'm forgetting at the moment..._

I completed the no mercy run, and damn it feels so good. But I think rewards are not good enough for highest difficulty in my opinion. They're good but not that great for no mercy run come on...

I completed the no mercy run, and damn it feels so good. But I think rewards are not good enough for highest difficulty in my opinion. They're good but not that great for no mercy run come on...
