- After a month of riding I'm finishing my review of the new Flysurfer Trip split kiteboard. I compare it to the Nobile NHP Carbon split and Shinn Slicer splitboard. I also discuss the improvements from the last generation of Flysplit and what I love and dislike on the board. I go over the technology, weight, and what to watch out for with the board.

I have a Shinn Slicer. It’s the same shaped board as the Trip. Who knows, maybe they were designed together and made in the same factory. 😀. You can’t go wrong with either. But Shinn graphics are much stronger. I can see the Slicer in every sea state and either way up regardless of the sun. Something to consider when taking your $1.4K board.

Exelent video as always! So you still use kuper Xt carbon bar dispite you own criticism ? How you fix it do you use some updates version? I aslo going to try but need you advice (i sow very cheerful your review about kauper XT bar and this stop me from purchase))) but what about your opinion now? Is it worth to try jast for light wing with Flayserfer Sonic 3 18? Thank you in advance for replay and good luck!
Thanks for the feedback Andrew! Mostly I'm still using the Pixto bar because of the effort and costs it took me to get one stateside and it would feel like a waste otherwise. Also the fact that the rest of my bars are in the middle of a retrofit doesn't help ;-) Kauper has made some improvements(line colors for example) on it though which is really nice especially since he was so against my suggestions before. I just shredded another center tube though and I'm being careful so I don't know what the problem is. I still don't trust it with a big air session or riding overpowered and I still can have the centerline bullet tangle in the steering lines while looping. Honestly though, with the new improvements, it might be a ok buy, sorry I can't help any futher on that.

Pretty sure I mentioned when I got the board in the beginning. I'd love to try a new NHP split to see the difference and give another comparison. Talking to those that have the new boards, the plastic thumb screws still fall apart too easily. It's a shame since that's one of my favorite features.
In the straps I prefer to use the normal screws included; click’n go for the fins work perfect. I think that Nobile is better for intermediate user, the rocker & rigidity of the half makes SUPER nice Pop and EASY landings in Freestyle tricks also. Regards 🤙🏼🤙🏼
@@prokitechile9172 I agree the NHP has more performance like I mentioned in the video BUT it has a smaller range which is not something you want in a travel board(which is the only reason you buy a splitboard). I think the fin design is better on the NHP, not sure the advantages of the FS click in fins. The 3d shape of the Trip board really makes up for the lack of rocker and I was constantly jumping as high if not higher than the NHP. Like I said eariler, Id love to get my hands on a new model NHP split to see the improvements.
