I’m 66 yrs old and have been deer hunting since I was 8 yrs old. I’ve seen hundreds of hunting video’s, but yours interest me much more than any others. The way you trap and handle your big game is very interesting. My wife and I pretty much live off the land both for food and medicine and so we’ve had many odd experiences not many people have shared. I’ve got deer (and other game) with about everything you can think of gun, bow, crossbow, snare, traps, even a spear when I was much younger. But I’ve only had to kill a deer twice with a knife and both times it was already wounded. Your process is extremely interesting in that you use no weapon at all and basically slaughter the animal at home like butchering livestock. It obviously takes much skill and thought, I applaud you my friend, and admire your choice to live close to the land and provide sustanance for your family directly instead of turning your back on the hard parts and reaping what you did not sow. Watching you builds the desire in me to try it your way very strongly, it’s exciting and brings up feelings I’ve forgotten from my younger days. I don’t believe it’s legal here though I’m defiantly going to check into it, and If it is you’ll be hearing of an old man across the ocean who learned from you and tried yet another way to provide for his family. I do have a couple of questions for you...... Why do you take your animal home to dispatch it? Is it illegal for you to leave the insides in the woods for the scavengers? Do you allow you animal to hang and age? I’ve only noticed you useing solid cuts of meat, do you grind and use burger from your animals? Thank you for your videos. I’ll look forward to reading your answers and seeing more videos. With respect from a brother of the hunt, Good Hunting!
I can read Japanese so I'll answer to some of your questions. He took the deer home and then dispatched it because he wanted to keep the meat fresh as possible. I'm not so sure but this extra process makes the meat taste better. Since the taste of red meat usually gets bland over time.
Yeah I'm in usa as well he's said before taking it home and calming the animal first is to not taint the meat and for freshness, also they use all the innards, guts get used for sausages etc.. almost 0 waste, just some bones are discarded.. I wish to be a hunter some day.
@@カワ-q9d Sorry but does not make the meat better as the animal is extremely stressed and the adrenaline is pumping through its body. The meat would taste better if it was killed right away with a bow or rifle.
this guy is true jungle survival master, and been blessed by Jungle (nature) Gods , because before he kill he always tribute, pray ,and thanksgiving to Jungle's Gods , keep hunting and feed your kids,
Well it's nice to see that if the world goes to hell this guy will definitely survive. Wow. I wonder just how long it took for him to learn the whole process of butchering his catches.
Hunting with a rifle is better in any way. Better meat due to no stress. And less suffering for the animal. There is no downside. If those people do not have the option to use a gun then it is ok.
@@DingDong-vf7bl Ihi Ding I can well understand in 2021 people don’t need to do this and especially not killing the animal asap but right now it’s a break from watching children being murdered in Europe
this is what happens when you give your government all the power. I've hunted many animals in my life but this is something else. Cut its jugular all that stress the animal goes through in the end destroys the meat with all the stress and adrenaline. poor deer you're amazing at what you do but coming from my side of the world its something i have never seen. 30-06 round to the vitals and it's dead in 20 seconds
I love your videos. I'm a hunter as well and enjoy the fruits of my northern Michigan land. I must say I personally find your methods a bit cruel, but I've never enjoyed trapping. Either way I understand you must follow the laws of your land and thus understand that while I may not agree with the methods exactly I still respect the hell out of you for what you do. Peace and love to you and yours my fellow woodsman.
I am sorry having to say this mate but being a hunter myself these are the worst slaughter and "hunting practices" I have ever seen. Do you skin them too before you kill them ...? I think I´ll pass on that dinner invitation as I know perfectly well from my own unfortunate happenings what meats of durated fear and suffering smells and tastes like.
i read that meat can taste bad if the animal experienced stress pre-slaughter. wondering if it's worth bringing back alive since it'll be struggling up till its final moments
When an animal stresses it releases all sorts of chemicals into itself like adrenaline which can change the flavor of the meat. Have you ever compared the flavor of the meat of an animal harvested with a Yumiya(bow and arrow)?
Great work. Amazing visual video again. Love how respectful you are towards nature and only kill what you need to provide for family. Truly inspiring
Dont forget torturing the animal before death:)
