I heard another story. Duryodhana, Dussasana & Sakuni went to Kerala to learn 'Nizhal kuthu'. This ritual is to kill people with a knife to prick in their shadow . Those tribal people in Kerala made a temple & worship for Duryodhana's victory. Later it became Duryodhana temple.

This story timeline definitely not matches with actual Mahabharat story. Shakuni died in Mahabharat war itself, so when did he went to do tap and pray to Lord Shiva. Rishi munis, Rakshas like Ravana etc take year and years of tap to make Lord Shiva appear and grant them some boon. So question is if Shakuni died in Mahabharat war (Mahabharat war was of only 18 days), how he got time to think about his deed of war and do tap etc etc. Timeline surely does not match, please check facts before quoting on social media.
