  • This Cessna was just released by FMS a week ago and being a sucker for scale general aviation models, I jumped for this beauty. For a strong presentation, I was lucky enough to turn to Bo to fly with his gentle touch. Wyatt, Frank, and I looked after the cameras. With more soft touches in mind, Roger Lopez and his guitar is performing the Kansas song, "Dust In The Wind".

Looks like a great model by FMS.I always liked working on the real Cessna 182 during my years working for a large Cessna dealer in Wichita,Kansas.Great job with the cameras and the song very fitting. Thanks Jim.

Thanks Don and if you have mastered an Apprentice or and Auroscout, this is easier. Jim

Like Coke, Levis, and the Beetles...Cessnas are found throughout the world and with this recent release by FMS...it was love at first sight for me. Jim

Bo handled all the flying today so I could work the camera...such is life. Maybe I'll see you for a short session Tuesday morning. Jim

Thank you Scott. I was sold after watching two videos of the build and first flight by JohnVHRC and the color choise...well I'm old and the Red made sense to me. Jim

Fantastic looking craft! You make this look so easy to fly. Mine is here, together waiting on my skills to improve before I take flight.

Thank you for your kind remark. Understand I am 75 years old and if I can fly it, you should be able to master it as well. A good trainer like and Apprentice our Aeroscout will more than prepare you for this model. Jim

@@barqwoof Thanks very much for the confidence. I’m currently training on the Apprentice STS 1500mm now. I’m doing well, hopefully I’ll achieve the skill you’ve shown in your videos. I’m rather optimistic.

I'm hitting the " Buy" button on this one. Not sure when I will build it, but it's too good not to grab one now and put it away. I once had the bigger Topflite kit version, and made the mistake of selling it 12 months after I built and maidened it. I'm not getting caught again.😉

The calendar reminds us that Summer is only a few day away. Just time enough to order, receive, and build yours to enjoy for the whole season. Jim

I'm actually in the southern hemisphere, so it would make a good winter project. 😊

Looks like a park somewhere in the Phoenix Valley?

Yes. A flood basin at Crismon Road and Elliot Road in Mesa. Only one of three locations in the city where we are welcome. Jim
