- Hi, I'm Dr. Judy, a Korean dermatologist.🌸Today I'm gonna debunk the Skincare Myth, 'Blackhead Removal Tips using a Vaseline'. Vaseline is originally used for extremely dry skin rescue and also to treat eczema in dermatology clinical care. However, ‘Blackhead removal videos by only using Vaseline’ in RUclips were really popular. Could the Vaseline be the solution for your blackheads instead of using AHA, BHA, or PHA toners?
I’ll share my opinion on this blackhead or oily skincare tips, and also show you suitable skincare products for sensitive & oily skin. Some of them are Korean beauty products and others are international brands. This video will be helpful for people with oily sensitive or oily combination skin type who have trouble with blackheads on their noses.

As a board certified dermatologist in Korea, I've met so many young patients who get breakouts after blindly following wrong skincare information on social media. That is one of the top reasons why I started my youtube channel and uploading videos regularly, even though this process is quite demanding as a doctor who have to see many patients a day.

However, I am a DOCTOR and a board certified DERMATOLOGIST who have been studying for over 26 years since I'm 10 years old to treat patients with skin diseases and sensitive skin type like mine. ( Because I was born with eczema and sensitive skin type and I've been suffering from skin breakouts after using skincare products not suitable for me).

I know you’re scrolling through the comments without watching the whole video.
She is basically demonstrating how ineffective it is to use Vaseline for removing blackheads/whiteheads.
She mentioned that Vaseline is for dry LIPS not the NOSE.
This is because blackheads/whiteheads are from clogged oil in your nose, so if you apply Vaseline to your nose you are basically just adding more oil to it.

클렝징폼을 바하 제품으로 사서 하면 돼요. 이 바하(BHA) 성분이 기름을 녹여주는 녀석이라, 이걸로 클랭징 하면 피지가 매일 조금씩 녹아서 블랙해드가 점점 없어질 거에요. 피부과 전문의 답게 정확한 방법을 알고 계신 듯. (BHA 클렌징 폼, 바하 클렌징 폼) 이렇게 검색하면 인터넷 쇼핑할 때 쉽게 찾을 수 있을 거에요.

바세린 뭔가 느낌이 싼마이같아서 그렇지 피부 보호에는 진짜 좋은 것 같아요. 한포진 때문에 고생중인데 바세린 꾸준히 바르면 훨씬 좋아지긴 해요.

even just in the nose? i have lots (not actually lots) of pimples and i don't know what can i do to remove thoseee.
well with any product, each person's skin is different so I wouldn't say don't, but it is good for other's to be aware that something like your case might happen; just so they are cautious if they do decide to try it

Well Koreans are usually more educated about beauty and healthcare RIP - let's just say for Americans all we know is cleanser + toner + moisturizer + random influencers who go omg yall this will remove blackheads and whiteheads remove pimples and all that jazz :)

Ok I put Vaseline on my nose overnight and covered it with cling wrap (don't cover your nostrils) + you can do this in the day as well, then in the morning I removed the cling wrap and using two q-tips squeezed my nose, and it worked, I was bored it was 4:00am but in the morning my blackheads went away with the squeezing! Not lying it's a 10/10 for me. PS:- I have never used any blackhead strip before this was my first ever blackhead removal.
