I'm curious. When you hum a short melody, I noticed you found the necessary notes at the high end of the fretboard. Is that necessary? Can't I find my notes nearer the headstock? At my level of playing, I'm 100 percent between the 1st and 4th frets.
@@LLewis-vu9qf you absolutely can!! You can find those same notes nearer the headstock in a higher string. I okayed high to illustrate that you don’t NEED to even know the area of the fretboard to find the notes you are humming.
@@XavierOfficial1 it certainly made it different. I don’t think it’s changed in a way that would make the audience know, but it’s changed the experience of playing. It’s been so long that I’ve been a guitar player that I have a lot of ways to work around it.
@guitargympro That's good to hear. I hope your career can live on and you can leave a legendary legacy behind you as someone who never stopped no matter what came in their way. -Warm wishes from Sweden🇸🇪

@@ALLANCOSTA-e6z thank you! I’m so glad it was helpful

Tem que tocar. Mostrar a pratica.
@@jeovasantos3564 I don’t know what that means and I tried to use google translate - are you asking for a play-a-long track?
So sorry to hear you lost your pinky finger. That's definetly crucial for a guitar player. Has it stopped you from playing in some way?

@ thank you! I do too. It’s taking some adjusting, but I believe I’ll get there.
Xavier😂.... So you're on RUclips too. I think it's not the real xavier. Cuz this comment doesn't suits you.. 😹
@@gggagn.6 Yeah obviously. Xavier is just a made up character that a lot of people enjoy empersonating.
