The best guitarists are MASTERS OF SOUND. Listening to him describe how he uses sound to create a feel is very insightful and telling of who he is as a musician.

Gotta love Clint. He pays tribute to the true great guitarists. He loves Dimebag's stuff also.

    Yeah he rocks.
I used to be mad at him because in a lot of interviews 6 or 7 years ago he was being obnoxious and feuding with his buddies in the band and then he leaves for a few years.
But, when he came back, he was a whole new person. He re-united with his bandmates with a new more positive attitude and now the band are not just buddies they are now brothers.
Plus, he is a phenomenal guitar player!

as an avid sevendust fan i had to sit back with my hands off and watch this entire video, it's great to get such insight to an artists preference totally unbarred.

It's great that Clint is now getting along with his bandmates in the Dust once again. The new Clint is way better than the old obnoxious one form the early 2000s. I remember seeing him constantly interrupting his bandmates in old interviews. It's nice that he put his ego aside and became the friendly, funny Clint from 1997. Instead of the loud and rude one from the "Seasons" days. Let your music be loud, not your attitude toward your brothers. I'm glad the band and Clint are on good terms again.

Tell me, does Mark Tremonti play a single cutaway or double cutaway guitar, based off of what you see on the PRS website.
Now tell me if Clint is playing a single cutaway or double cutaway in this video.

Clint is playing a double cut (strat style), singles cuts are Les Paul style guitars

hahaha Okay? So he's got a open coil in the bridge and a nickel cover in the neck. So the fuck what, Gibson does that shit all the time. Mark Tremonti plays a SINGLE CUT PRS, in the shape of a Les Paul with obvious differences.
Look at the fuckin DOUBLE CUT that Clint is playing. That means it has TWO cutaways as opposed to ONE. There's also no selector switch AT ALL on the guitar. There's a 5 way rotary knob down by the TWO knobs under the bridge. The Tremonti has 4.
