Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I now focus on my vlog full time.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for since 2009, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser (born 2010), Caleb (born 2013) and Jackson (born in 2016).

A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X and a Canon EOS M50.

A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.

You’ve helped me so much I didn’t have a good mum to teach me to be a parent. I have a 9,7 and 1 year old and until I found your channel I was winging it, always felt like I was drowning in house work and mum life. But I found your channel after seeing your live birth with jackson, I’ve learnt so much from you, from house keeping, genital parenting, life in general… I also now have a Jakson myself 😍 xx

Evening Emily, I’m exactly the same as you. I have all the laundry done as soon as I get home. I sorted the loads as I pack to come home and then it’s one less thing to worry about 😉. You saying he might have long dresses just made me smile so big. I hope your wonderful boys know how blessed it is to have parents that love and accept them however they are. I strive to show my children that same open minded broad acceptance, I think it's most important when it makes us uncomfortable.

Oh my, I have to get unpacked the instant I get home! My husband and I have unpacking down to an art at this point. We've often stayed up till 3 am unpacking if we get home late. I'll also throw in the first load of laundry right then and there :)
Definitely unpack straight away & get a wash on. I wouldn’t be able to relax otherwise. Love this video, makes me feel like I want to get motivated & organised too x
I watched the Home Edit show too, on RUclips, and it was so interesting how they organize things. I did decant snacks for my 5 yr old daughter recently. If you put it where they can reach it then...they can reach it!

The Mint Intense chocolate is SO good! They used to have sesame dark chocolate as well but haven’t seen it in shops for years now. YES to immediately unpacking and doing laundry after coming back from overseas. When I move to a new apartment I also must have everything unpacked and decorated the same day😃

I can’t believe it Jackson is starting school next week on Monday I am sure he is glad about it. The indigo jumper and peachy pink coral with the white caller is so lovely on you. That spaghetti bolognese looks so delicious, lovely and also really healthy with the grated cheese on it. family dinner. The song that was playing in the intro is Get it right now by Hallman. I love Get it right now song so much very inspirational and motivational song as well. The dinners that you are having this week are so good and delicious all the time. My favourite dinners were lentil chilli, spaghetti bolognese, veggie or chicken curry and one pot pasta as well. I like oat and coconut milk too! Mango and passion fruit is my favourite and best smoothie. Pink lady apples are my favourite apple they are so sweet and yummy. Oh tuna or chicken salads taste amazing. Belvita soft bakes chocolate chip biscuits are lovely. Milk or white chocolate fingers are so fabulous. Lindt milk chocolate bar is my favourite chocolate ever. I have to do laundry two days after been on holiday. I love the layout on your phone. It’s so nice too! I avoid ironing whenever possible. Years ago I heard this rhyme: First the collar then the chest, next the cuffs and forget the rest. If your wearing a blazer or jacket on top that’s really all you need to do.
Definitely do it straight away. The feeling you get when it's all done is amazing haha
Mom's New Year - I SO agree with this! I was like this last Sunday when we got back, doing 5 laundry cycles and all that. Your vids motivate me SO much - I actually paused this one twice, to think of some dinners for next week and order a new blade for my food processor. Great way to start the new "year"!
It’s so interesting seeing how we eat the same things but call them different things I’m amused by the number of things that “fingers” is added to in the name of things like in the US we call them fish stick, Twix, cookies but in this haul it’s fish fingers, Twix fingers, chocolate fingers, crisps. I love everything about the British accent lol

I definitely always put everything away when I come back I remember even doing before work the day after we came back. One option I thought that might be helpful for Caleb’s wardrobe is pull down rails then you don’t lose the hanging space but you can still access everything.

If where I'm staying has laundry I like to do it on last day, or straight away when I get home. Wasn't always the case in my 20s I was more likely to leave it weeks. Experience is a great teacher 😂😂

I once went to Europe and when I came back my luggage stayed unpacked in my living room for five months.
it all depends if we are able to do laundry on vacation, no be dire need...it will all get done. i like coming home with clean laundry...missed you!! hugs from the USA

This year I bought and extra set off uniform so I can iron Monday's when he's in school and toddler naps. This year ive invested in slow cooker to try be more organised bring a single mum for my first summer it's been a busy 8 weird but looking forward to new routine and motivation thank you for this x

No one can say Worcestershire sauce 😆 My husband was a grocery manager for years and told his team to call it "W sauce" to avoid tripping over the word, plus it just saved time. 😄

Have you thought about taking off the cabinet door to your washer to make opening the other cabinet door easier until your kitchen remodel? I know it’s coming soon, but it might make that space a little bit easier to use.

I absolutely unpack immediately when I get home. I don’t know that I would have even left it till the next morning. I’d have had to go into my suitcase to get toiletries to get ready for bed and I wouldn’t have been able to just leave it at that. 😬 The kids’ suitcase would probably have had to wait till they woke up so I could access their room though.

Since I am usually exhausted after travelling back, I have to do all the driving etc. I will start the washing the day after we get back. I dont have to unpack too much anyway as the toiletries etc are just the travel duplicates in the cases. Also Im usually sad that the holiday is over

That's a good idea getting a food delivery for when you get home I always do the washing soon as I get home I'm doing 3 days a week meat free I do the chilli with mixed beans 💞

I always unpack as soon as we get home for local trips but whenever we get back from the UK or Europe I’m exhausted (it’s a long haul to and from Australia) so I might leave it until the next day.
