    Alabama Coach Nate Oats has done a great job getting the Tide in position to compete on an elite level. They can shoot 3's and play D. Love the chemistry on this team. The Zags are a good team. They never gave up even when it looked like it might get out of hand. Mark of a team that will be in the thick of things come March.

      Gonzaga isn’t playing like a “team” yet. They will improve all season and that’s scary. Timme and other players have been there couple years and the superstar Chet is just getting started. Alabama is a great group and deep. Speed size shooting and defense.

      @@Snickerszn I agree, and the operative word is "yet." Gonzaga's potential is very evident. Too many people forget that early season is to try new things and see what works and what doesn't. The Zag's will get there, and I hope Alabama does as well.

    Last night was the first game where Davison looked like he's adjusted to the college game. He wasn't hesitating to shoot open shots instead of forcing drives. When Alabama has him on the floor with Shackleford, Quinerly, Ellis and one big, that is going to be a hard team to guard. They will spread you out and if you try to run them off the 3 point line they will attack the basket.

    Jd is the truth although he isn't high on any creditable mock draft the kid has unbelievable upside because his gain isn't predicated on 1st scoring; an unselfish team 1st player, and JD plays within the offense thus allowing the game to come to him. I don't think so. They need to still score big. Look at when one and dones first started. Michael Beasley and KD both killed it. Beasley was still a decent player. Still need to prove it in college with like-age comp first. At least Emoni ain't in the draft till 2023 at least. Emoni went 1-10 today. He's been shooting it really poor.

    Why Chet only played 22 minutes? Did he make some bad decisions on the court or get injury? I only watch this video, and see he struggled in the paint. can't protect the rebound. Also, Zags played sloppy defense in 1st half, especially when Chet wasn't on the court.

    • @Don-md6wn
      @Don-md6wn 3 года назад +1

      I think Alabama's pace in this game was too fast for Holmgren. They play 3 and 4 guards, spread the floor and get a lot of run outs off their defense. Also, every open perimeter shot I saw from Holmgren was a brick. He looks like way overhyped to me, is not close to being physically ready for the NBA and needs to develop a perimeter shot because he is going to get manhandled around the basket like he did last night.
