Bud got highly hyped after Spence fight, but before that he was getting touched by Porter, benabidez, and mean machine and hurt by small Gamboa, yes he beat them, but people act like he's now untouchable.

@@geez8780 I watched Bud play with Dulorme for a few rounds before he got serious and knocked him out. This was 6 years BEFORE Boots got him and at a lower weight class.
What the hell does "getting touched" even mean? It's boxing. He "gets touched" in every fight like any boxer does. All those people you named can fight their asses off. Benavidez till this day even with his limited mobility can still put lightning fast combinations together on world champion level fighters. He did it to Danny Garcia and Jermall Charlo. He would've been a top guy at 147 for sure if he didn't get shot. And Tim this day Bud the smaller man, is the only guy to stop Benavidez. Hell he's the only guy to even DROP him. Danny couldn't. Mall couldn't.

Bud dont have the same versatility he is a range finder. Boots has better shoulder roll, catch shoot, roll punches and counters, cuts angles, better shoulder to shoulder fighter, way better on the inside, faster and smoother combos. Crawford good at hitting people in between punches but he hasnt done that against guys like boots. He takes time to find range against fast dudes. Boots gets him and he is done. Were talking about a dude who got wobbled by a gamboa jumping up two weight divisions and a mean machine. Boots is way harder hitting than both and way more versatile. Bud uses almost strictly front to back motion. Boots will change up distancing and timing and catch him. Errol doest do that stuff. Errol just comes un slow stalking with a methodical style. That was a good match up for bud stylistically. Boots is horrible for bud.

Boots better than terence at a lot of things and boots got way better inside games, philly shell, and much better at angles. Terrencea range finder and very good at it but was getting hit by looping hooks from lundy who isnt half as good as boots and he dropped rounds to dulorme who boots decimated. If you think a 135 lbs gamboa jumping up two weight divisions rocking crawford is more of a challenge than boots you are crazy. If boots aint ready than who is dummy.

His last two performances He is Not Ready. The Karen fight showed us He don’t have a high iQ and lack some boxing tricks. The villa fight Shows us He does better against pressure Fighters only. Those two fights Show us where Boots IS at rn. If he jumps up to That Level of bud it will be a short career he may Not Box again. He might lose two eyes instead of the one Errol did .
