Absolutely, Solo is super underrated and the trooper designs from it were awesome. Young Lando and the Range trooper are two of my favorite Star Wars designs period. I have multiples of all the troopers because they were so cheap back in the day.
I'm thinking the hate Solo received was a backlash from Last Jedi. Unfortunately many chose to take it out on the Solo movie and I feel they missed out on a really good movie. Well that's what I think, anybody else have a theory why Solo got so much hate?
The Kessle run was way cooler in my head. The shitty way they revealed why his last name is Solo. The annoying fem-nazi droid. The pointless inclusion of darth maul for 3 seconds. Nobody cared about the gold dice. Anthony Ingruber should've been casted as Solo. This movie isnt good at all. These are not opinions but facts.

His name being given to him by a bored imperial officer was neat since Han is you know, Solo and shouldn’t have a family name. You’d think he gave that name to himself but that’s cringe and it being forged for him and Han decided to roll with it was fine. L3 was indeed very annoying but she’s an alright character and short lived in the movie. Phenobe Waller Bridge is way worse in Indiana Jones so I’d say we got lucky with her in Solo. The gold dice were made important in the last Jedi so the filmmakers were forced to include them in Solo and they again were an ok plot device between Han and Q’ra. Alden Ehrenreich was great as a young Han Solo before he became a shady smuggler with a bounty on him. The only reason everyone hates it is because of the back lash from TLJ and dullards still have that mindset almost 6 years later
this movie had great character designs and the figures mirrored that well. I wish we had pony tailed q’ira and some of the background aliens but I am happy with the selections we got. That Val figure is underrated. She has such a cool look.
I've loved the Solo line from day one. Just a great bunch of figures - all very unique. I also love the Patrol Trooper and the Range Trooper. Great looking Lando. Even better looking Enfys Nest! Wow!!! Great video, LL! 👍👍
All the Solo figures are great cept maybe the Mimban Stormtrooper and that's only let down by the old stormtrooper mould. Updated on the new buck it'd be a winner. Your custom figs look amazing.

And your custom figures really bring out the details and look amazing. I also enjoyed the Solo movie, my wife and I couldn't see it in the theater because I was recovering from back surgery at the time. I received the blue ray Solo movie for Christmas ⛄🎄 that year and enjoyed it very much. I missed out on some of the Solo black series figures Rio Durant and Tobias Becket unfortunately much harder ones to find. Great video! I love this movie, as it reminds me of the classic comics and books! We really need a Kessel Qi'ra, unmasked Enfys (really thought we would get a Karli Marvel Legends from Falcon and Winter Soldier to head swap, but oh well), young Han with speeder to go with the Qi'ra we do have, and Hawaiin shirt Lando (TVC is getting one, hopefully the Black Series too)!
I love the movie! It's just a fun place western and it definitely deserved more love. I think the figures are beautiful, but I still need a few more. I slacked.
Lando, Tobias, and Rio look really good! Dryden was a good looking figure too, also like how his scars changed color. I didn’t like Qi’ra figure I think shes the most in need of an update.
@@LandspeederLuke thats fair but the title says black series. The SH chewie does look better though. I also wish they made an official one of that white vest han. Especially since the qira they made was from the same scene and not the later scenes to match the brown jacket han. Your custom is pretty good though.
COVID happened... A lot of their designers were probably forced to work at home and basically quit. I honestly do think that some of the andor figures look amazing

Some great figures for Solo and they can be had on the cheap.

Different characters from the star wars series are surprisingly good and definitely well designed. I'm ready for the Andor series line to be revealed.
I to this day am still upset we got the version of Qira that we did. Awesome main character and we got the outfit/look she had for 5 mins.

Dryden's blades also change color in the freezer too if I remember. I would check, but he's in storage right now😅
I hope Enfys Nest comes in the Archive Line. The speeder is really huge and I would like to have only the figure

Absolutely love these figures but kind of glad that they didn’t sell well because they’re excellent bases for customs and are usually pretty cheap
I agree, this era of black series was peak. Face sculps IMO were at their best and didn’t have that ridiculous shiny look
