1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot
Sin was imputed to Jesus and Christ acted as a sacrificial substitute for us, Christ remained unblemished, and perfect, an innocent was crucified in our place.

If you owed a bill at a store, I could go into that store and pay it for you. In the same way that one person can pay the debt of another, Jesus paid OUR sin debt on the cross. Theologically speaking we call this imputation. To impute means to reckon to another's account. Our sins were imputed to Christ on the cross. That is, they were reckoned to HIS account.
1 Peter 2:24, "and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed." This states that he bore our sins. That is, the legal debt of our sins was taken by Jesus upon himself on the cross.
2 Corinthians 5:21, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." Because God knows all things (1 John 3:20), everyone's sin is known by God. In other words, because God knows everything, he necessarily knows every sin that everybody will ever commit. Because our sins are against God, since we break his law, he has a record of all of our sins in the past, present, and future. And since legal debts can be transferred (and sin is a legal debt) God transfers all of our sin debt to Christ on the cross. Whether or not it is future or past from our perspective is irrelevant to God who indwells ALL time simultaneously.
On the cross, Jesus took upon himself ALL the sins of mankind, past, present and future, and he paid the price for us all.
    "It is finished"

This title is "at odds" with the Lamb who is without blemish and without spot "becoming sin"--there are many sermons where the pastor/preacher would take 2 Corn.5.21's "For he hath made Him to be sin for us" and spoon feed to the congregation that Jesus "became" sin on the cross. Read Romans 8.3; Isa. 53.6,9,12; and I John 3.5 for starters. Ignorance or Blasphemy to say "Jesus became Sin?" Paul Washer clearly and correctly states the doctrine--the title changes what Paul Washer is clearly stating. albuquerque

Paul Washer states here that our sins were" placed upon Christ " and that The LORD chose to "bare our sins " .This seems to be at odds with the title of the video .
