It's been an emotional start to the new year saying goodbye to our apartment and ready to start the new chapter in our first home together. Taking you along throughout this whole process of buying our first home moving, packing, unpacking and settling in!

I remember feeling the exact same way when I was moving out of the first home I lived in with my now fiancé (also a rental property) to move into the house we own; it was such a bittersweet feeling and I can totally relate to your whirlwind of emotions. Congratulations on your beautiful new home, I’m sure you will be so happy there 🤍
It was bittersweet leaving that amazing flat but the second I stepped in the home all those anxious feelings left it felt so exciting - and thankyou :D!!
Oh Chloe ♥️ my husband and I are getting ready to embark on the first-home purchasing journey and I can completely relate to your tears! We have lived in the same cozy, historic apartment for the last 4 years. Seen us through new careers, a pandemic, our first puppy, our engagement, and marriage. Just thinking about leaving it has me all in my feelings! It really is such a bittersweet experience. I know one day we will look back at our time together in that apartment - just the two of us! I definitely went through the emotions when I moved into my first home, especially as I was moving out of my family home and living with my boyfriend for the first time. I remember going back to my parents house crying because our new house didn't feel like home and I was like omg have I done the right thing. Its a HUGE milestone in your life, its definitely going to be overwhelming and how you felt is so normal! Congratulations on your new home, you will make so many amazing memories and you should be super proud! xxx

I have moved several times and have learned to downsize and only have what I am actually using. I now live where the bare minimal way of living. I also inherited a house from my parents, who passed and it was a nightmare, clearing out with everything in the house. Even living with minimal contents, I still get overwhelmed. Good to get rid of things one that is not using and donate. I gave a lot of things to charity. That is what I did to make me feel a lot better. I also hired people to help pack up and move me, it was very helpful. Can’t wait to see the new home.

Congratulations on your new home Chloe, it looks beautiful. I do wonder if as a You Tuber along with many others that you feel overwhelmed by all your, for want of a better description 'stuff'. I know its called your job, to buy beauty/clothes and style them etc etc and along with that you get sent a heap of stuff. But then there is this accumulation, an overwhelming amount of everything which must surely cause stress. In reality how much gym wear does one person need or skincare for example. This type of job comes across as glamorous but I don't think I could cope with the endless piles and tidying and cupboards full of things. Its like consumerism full steam ahead. A bittersweet side of the job I suppose. Before anyone says anything, its just observations, not criticisms of Chloe! x

When we are whatching this video with my mom when you are cried we was so sad😪😔😔because moving to another home so difficult and stressfull moment when we leave our lovely home. When we sold our old apartment we was crazy and still now we can't forgate our apartment crying so sad to us we make very big mistake when we sold our old home😪😔😔but it's life. aww it really is emotional I didn't realise how attached I was to our flat but it was such an amazing place as a homebody aha but very excited to now be in the new home :D ❤
