    kobe is one of the greats, guaranteed.
    lebron may be a better physical specimen, but kobe has a heart and passion that no one can touch. i can't count how many times kobe has taken my breath away at unbelievable end of game clutch moments.

    I strongly believe Kobe has been chosen by God to show the world how to really play Basketball.... He is almost unreal to believe when you watch him play basketball. He is totally a different Kobe out there... The greatest part about KB24 is he doesn't even know what he will do... He plays the game beyond his expectations and that's something we don't get to see often.

    finally a superb mix of kobe. and really nice choice of music. thx
    as for kobe...i never liked the person but that guy earns my respect with his accomplishments.
    when one says kobe is a selfish player he should think of that there are different roles on a basketball team. and kobes role is to score points. maaaany points. he's by far the best in the nba for that job so why should he do less?

    Kobe has two alter egos, #8 and # 24. His younger days he just drove as well as hit tough jumshots played much more aggresive defense. His new number 24 hes more patient, better team player, mastered the game. and still has clutch.

    On Jordan's side, all you need to say is that he's Jordan. Once he matured, since he was an ass when he was young, nothing bad can be said about him. He won 6 championships, had two 3-peats, stopped some GREAT players from ever winning championships (Payton, Malone, Stockton, Ewing, Barkley).
    Nobody at his position was in his league when he played. Clyde was the closest thing, which the NBA tried to market but to no avail. Kobe has a guy like that, so they're completely different situations.

  • @ricapol1999

    Winning the MVP doesnt mean you're the best for that season. Kobe is a victim of injustice when it comes to MVP honors because it is by votes, not by stats. Media didn't like him. When he is great, everybody praised him, when he has done something wrong, everybody just reat spontaneously. Poor Kobe, you either love him or hate him. For me, I love Kobe!!!

    Shaq was on TNT as a guest during the playoffs and he said Kobe was the MVP. The MVP was just a popularity contest anyways (Dirk Nowitski had 8 points and shot like 20% when his team got eliminated in the first round.) Kobe scored 50+ four straight games last season to keep his team in the playoff race. Thats something that has never been done besides Chamberlain. What you don't realize is that every Laker starter was injured and a total of 12 players so it made things more difficult.

  • @presidentobama7

    Fellas don't worry yourselves! We all know that Kobe is the truth, will be the truth, and forever will play truthfully. MJ was great! But as Reggie Miller said, and I quote, 'he is off doing bad hanes commercials' Let MJ have his moment! I promise you this all you no good Kobe haters, Kobe will go down in history as better than Jordan could ever be!

    its hard to say if jordans the best player or anything and its not going to be close until we figure that out. but i htink we all agree that kobe is a better ball player then anyone in the league right now. nobody can beat him in a game of one on one. its not possible

  • @ilocos78
    @ilocos78 15 лет назад

    if michael jordan didn't exist, we probably appreciate kobe's greatness more but mj did exist and he showed as things we never seen before beyond our imagination that until today no one can do what he did. but kobe is the closest thing to michael jordan when it comes to closing a game. i don't think kobe will ever match mj's numbers, honors and accomplishments.

    90's defenses were tough as hell. No handchecking, no defensive 3 sec. No flagrant fouls, more contact to initiate fouls. Surely you can look up the Bad Boy Pistons era followed by the Knicks.
    Defenses suck now and that's why scoring is up from the 90's.

    MJ outta his prime averaged about 23 PPG with the Wiz's in the NBA Zone defense. He's been introduced to the true zone in college ball...shot over 54% and could have done a lot more scoring than he did, but Dean Smith held him back as part of their system at UNC.

    Kobe is an amazing player. He makes his teammates better and is by far one of the greatest players of all time. An extremely skilled, agile, and creative player. He is right up there with Michael Jordan. He is better than Lebron James in my opinion because he is more consistent with his shot, and he can create shooting space for himself or other players easily. He knows how the game works and uses that to his advantage.

  • @ilocos78
    @ilocos78 14 лет назад

    MJ is the only player ever in NBA history to be named DPOY, lead the league in scoring and take home MVP trophy in the same year. None of these overhyped young generation can boast stats like MJ had, especially on both offensive and defensive end. MJ never lost in the finals and never let any team in the finals to come into his own house and embarrass his team to the tune of a 35-pt beatdown in the deciding game like what happened to Kobe and the Lakers against Celtics.

  • @ClipCoug
    @ClipCoug 16 лет назад

    Easier to score in the 80's than today, but the 90's were tougher to score on. And you can double and triple-team back then, but only when they have the ball, or it's illegal D.
    Jordan had a career of being double and triple teamed. It wasn't always like that for Kobe because they were on Shaq.

  • @DarNiT700
    @DarNiT700 17 лет назад

    Kobe is deadlier then Mike was. Kobe never stops, never gives up. Even when the west was up by 27 points in the 3rd quarter. "Lets go for the throat, lets finish them" - Jordan would find no answer to stop Kobe. Kobe would slow down Jordan and his scoring capability. Kobe is stronger, faster, more athletic then Jordan ever was. Kobe is better.

    Kobe is going to be the BEST OF ALL TIME once his career is over. Trust me. I know, it's hard for MJ fans to accept that but they are going to have to.
    Kobe got Pau Gasol for a reason. It's destiny. Kobe's destiny is to be the greatest basketball player of all time and that's why he got Pau Gasol. He got Pau so he can show that he can be a leader and lead a team to a 3 peat WITHOUT Shaq.
    Kobe's mentality is to be the GOAT. He wont say it, but we ALL know, Kobe wants to be greater than Jordan

    MJ is the only player in NBA history to beat down every single competitor that rose to challenge him. No player in NBA history so fully dominated an era in the NBA like MJ did. He sent Charles Barkley,J. Stockton and Malone home ringless, prevented P.Ewing and J.Starks from reaching NBA Finals. Olajuwon and C. Drexler only won when MJ retired. David Robinson and Alonzo Morning only won when MJ left for the 2nd time. Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp were also unlucky, MJ shut them down.

    def sven.. most people either dont love the game enough to actually learn its progression and history, i personally witnessed so that gives me a great edge. its hard for most to understand that the reason why the past is celebrated is sometimes hype. however the 80's were not hype. that decade saw some of the greatest teams ever and they were only slightly less athletic than today. the 90's were a kind of no man's land for talent in the NBA. they a few very great ones...the rest? scrubs.

    Jordan's playoff record without Pippen as a teammate was ONE win and NINE loses
    Jordan played 15 seasons, and played on FIVE losing teams. On none of the five losing teams was Scottie Pippen his teammate.
    The collective W/L record for Jordan's five teams without Pippen as a teammate was 182 wins and 228 loses, a WHOPPING .444 winning (or should I say losing) percentage.
    Pippen however, played on 16 winning teams in 17 seasons.

    good point, but his ascension to being unstoppable, and 6 rings, was during that latter part of his career we speak of, which is when he started to use the mid-ranged game more.his ability to dominate the post, as a guard with his fadeaway and post moves revolutionized basketball in so many ways,and kobe knows this so he does the same exact thing.there are indeed greater athletes in the game today who dominate.but that aspect of the game is not what wins 6 championships, 5mvps,etc.
