This solution is useful to make the decal to adapt itself to a non-flat surface. For exemple when you have to put a decal on the dashboard of a plane, or like here in this video.
@@fabricedevos4273 It's supposed to be a tutorial on the Decal Adapter, it gets used on probably the only decal that doesn't need it. Also, it doesn't really get a mention apart to say it locks the decal in place. does it make the decal conform? if so it should have been used on the decal that goes over the trim.
A better tutorial would have been using the decal adapter on a Junkers Ju52 corrugated wing.

@@AdmiralPrune2 I agree. A detailed/embossed surface would have made this video a better tutorial.
