Hi Tab! I make my avo toast with sauerkraut, Hemp seeds and a drizzle of balsamic glaze on top. Soooo good Tab! Give it a try you haven't already 😉. Also cutting oils ( all kinds) can help you tremendously with inflammation within your body. Dr. Neal Barnard talks a lot about that. I got rid of my cramps completely by eliminating oils, nuts, nut butters and once in a while I eat avocados. My friend did the same for her back pain and saw great results as well 🙌. I hope it helps you too 🤗🙏

Your avocado toast looks great. I'm going to leave off the olive oil though. Adding oil to my food gave me high cholesterol. Also eating the processed meats. They had added oil. I couldn't figure out why my levels kept going up. Plus I thought I was eating the healthiest, but I couldn't lose weight for nothing until I remembered Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn said no oil, or fats like avocado, nuts, seeds while trying to lose weight. Dr. McDougall said it also. One of the things I did was cut those foods out, and just ate whole plant based foods. I lost 55 lbs. I got 18 lbs to go to reach a healthy BMI. I'm not telling you how to eat. I'm just sharing what I put in my body. Everyone is different and must follow their own path.
Hmm interesting. I lost 72 pounds eating Extra Vigin Olive Oil no more than 3 tsp a day) and small portion sizes of avocado. My cholesterol levels went down. Like you said it's an individual thing.

Not only are eggs full of cholesterol and saturated fat but the egg industry grinds up a day old baby make chicks alive in a macerator bc these fragile babies are considered to be "waste products " please consider not eating eggs. It's the most heinous industry.

Tab, I have never had avocado toast in my life, until just now, and it was delicious! I used your recipe as a template (cause that's my business 😊), and used dill, a touch of nutritional yeast, Himalayan salt (it's what I had), black pepper and garlic powder. I had the pickle on the side and almost forgot about it, the rest of it was so good!

If I may make a suggestion: I do love Dave's Killer Breads, but if you haven't tried sprouted grain breads, it's a little more in alignment with a raw food journey. Regardless, I will now be using kale as my garnish. Thank you!

I use whole honey wheat, spread butter on the wheat toast then put slices of avocado then sprinkle salt. AMAZING 🥑💚🥑💚
