I did buy a weather radio last year. It's cool, it has an emergency sound thing, a light, a charger thing, and a crank power thing. I have like 4 of these LED lantern things. I had to use them last week, we lost power.

Yes, I'm in central OH. We rarely actually get a tornado. But sometimes we have watches, and/or strong winds. They test the alarms on Wednesday at noon.

I live in north Texas and we get tornados any season over here especially our temperatures are like a roller coaster over here so you would definitely need your whole wardrobe ready. Plus, you made me laugh when you were telling how Will had that wallflower upside down and all the scent spilled out lol!! Gosh, I have only ever experienced tornados once in my life but I totally relate to power-loss during the day where you can't do anything because there's ridiculous loadshedding in my country where electricity can be disabled for 2+ hours at a time (mind you, this is just one of the slots for the day - there could be power outages 3 or 4x a day
