The new ones are terrible I literally stopped playing them, The FPS was SPECTACULAR but the story, the dialogue and making the Nazis look like stupid evil people was what ruined everything. It ruined the title of Wolfenstein to be honest.
Play Wolfenstein return to the castle and you'll understand how good and unique this game was.

I played Wolfenstein so much a few years ago, i probably beat those games 40+ times, i got burned out, but still they are amazing
Did you beat it on the hardest difficulty with no respawns? I died in the Nazi trial room imaginary fight and haven't tried it since. That was like 4 months ago.

This video made me look into the wolfestein franchise more to the point where I decided to download wolfestein: the new order and let me tell you. I don't regret my decision a bit. Awesome game,thank you so much for the recommendation
I bought and blitzed through TNO and TOB on launch day. I still replay both games every year or so. Still just as fun as the first time, every time.
Good games, just steer clear of Youngblood, that one is the stinker.
I remember playing New Order. It was always a blast. You could approach missions differently too. I'd replay the first few levels over and over again. It'd never get old
It's my second favorite fps series I love just how deep the game is and how sad Blazcowitz's life was his character constantly talks about wanting death it's clear you play a depressed man who just wants the best for his friends and family so he keeps fighting for them not himself he is selfless and is a amazing hero.

The level i am talking about was the first one containing paranormal stuff. Before that it was a normal first person shooter against nazis. I was fighting on ground in a town and the map lead me to a cemetery and there i had to jump down into some catacombs and then the horror started xD i later found out my cousin only lent me out the game because he himself was stuck at that mission due to being scared as well haha

I love the Wolfenstein games. The stories are amazing, character are rememberable, the architecture of the Nazis is unique, the weapon designs are beautiful. Definitely a must play in my book.

As someone who doesn't really like these games even I would recommend it. I personally don't care for the games. They just aren't my niche but I can confirm that these games are well made and have plenty to offer
While I wouldn't make the claim that its the best franchise ever, it's definitely the most influential; it basically started the whole FPS genre. Plus, the game sold more than five million copies, which is not what I would describe as "no one plays it". Just don't mention the last one, we don't talk about Young Blood.

For the last few weeks ive beent trying to find people who actually cared more about wolfenstein, which is a really well elaborated game. This franchise was probably the best ive ever played in my life. I hope it can ever make a comeback, since youngblood was a disaster.

Well, I am a wolfenstein fan. And yes, I feel you. Kids in my class know the games and stories, but never played them. It is easy to find a DOOM fan, but finding a Wolfenstein fan? Really hard.

Same I like the universe but story wise and gameplay it feels lackluster. In comparison to doom which both have similarities doom feels like I’m playing a super solider, but wolfenstein makes me feel like I just have plot armor and not that my character is a bad ass.

I played New order and New colossus and I'll admit they were good games but they're only fun when being experienced for the first time. There's no way I can enjoy replaying them, I've tried.

First time I started playing these games I was just highly disturbed. They uh…they took the “what if” part of history and ran with it. They got dark, real fucking dark.

I think the the concepts pretty cool a nice recognizable mc that you can sympathize with and the story’s done pretty well for atleast the first and prequel in the new timeline if you still have somewhat of a negative or neutral opinion on the games try some of the older games like return to castle Wolfenstein

The New Colossus is what got me into Wolfenstein. Played it on PC and Xbox Series X, the game is incredible. I will probably play the other games.
