Great concept! I'm trying to find something like this to do with my '18 Sierra for putting (Thule/Yakima)crossbars over over my cargo bed for a roof top tent. This will make it easier to do with a roll-up tonneau cover!
Shoot me a text or call me at 813-494-4108 if you want to discuss further. I routinely build one off custom components for people and give huge discounts for the Guinea pigs. No offense. Lol.
For high impact rubber have you considered using mudflap. I find them on the road and they are great rubber. Cut with aviation snips and clean up on a bench grinder. Just a suggestion. Nice work!
Dude you are awesome, Can you do a stripe kit for a 22 inch toro recycler mower, Wanting to get back into the business but unfortunately have to start from scratch again because my equipment was stolen. When i am able to purchase a walk behind I definitely will buy your setup. Keep it bro!
We have a farm store near us, Coastal Farm and Ranch, and they sell those rubber mats at approx 1/2” thick that are dense and used in horse and cattle applications. Sorry, I’m not a farmer 😉
They are. But I'm finding alot of trucks cant use them because some stake pockets are hollow and not evenly sized the whole way down. I've had to move to a bolt in version. They work well but I really wanted to perfect that wedge anchor design. Thanks for watching!
I like what you are doing . I think you need a web site where you can discuss pricing among other things. I suggest you put a complete system together with a variety of bolt on holders for everything from oxy and acetylene tanks to all the lawn maintenance tools to scuba gear you can add the idea of custom builds even a ladder that would hang on the side rail and bear against the ground or tire. Put as much of that together on you website and give people a pretty good idea what they will pay you for things. have an hourly rate for custom work yadda yadda yadda.
I appreciate that. I do have a website. It's www.mowandgosystems.com and it focuses primarily on the lawn care industry. I've put a hold on the expanding anchors due to the complexity of making them truly universal.
Dale, they sell online rubber flooring like in gyms, online, Google. Made out of recycled tires ! Buy a piece and use a small bandsaw to cut. You could vary size and thickness that way. Buy the way, OUTSTANDING!!👍👍👍
I've stopped building these because they don't work on every truck. I do make some anchors and they do fit the dodge ram. That rear stake pocket on the ramp is a weird configuration isn't it? Lol.
There is a wedge shaped nut inside the tube connected to the other end of the threaded rod. When the rod is raised the sloped wedge nut slides against the pressure plate tube (probably cut at the same angle as the wedge) which forces it out to expand when the nut is tightened.
Yes, but they are not on the website and I make them to order. Call or text me at 813-494-4108 or email me at daleotero@hotmail.com and I'll get some measurements from you. The expanding anchor price for the pair is $100.00 which includes shipping.
I don't build these anymore. I didn't have a good way to make them truly universal. I do have bedrail systems on my website, www.mowandgosystems.com but the anchors are actually incorporated into the rails.
Looks like a cool concept!
a great product!

That is a great idea! I've put this project on the shelf because I struggled to make it truly universal, but I appreciate the feed back.
I love smart people, thanks.
very nice!

I'm sure I could work out some kind of stipe kit. Thank you for checking out the videos!

convenient and easy to install 👌🏽

I need four of those mounts for my 2001 F-150

I'm on it!! Thanks for the direction!
Example, Rubber Flooring Inc. .com
Your welcome DALE, they will send you free sample!
You should make the sides of the rails have hooks or d rings so you can tie stuff down in your bed easily.
That's a great idea. Thanks for watching my video!
Nice stake pocket
Dale, are you still making these and have you ever made them for Ram 1500’s?
I've stopped building these because they don't work on every truck. I do make some anchors and they do fit the dodge ram. That rear stake pocket on the ramp is a weird configuration isn't it? Lol.
Does anyone have a tutorial on how to make these?
Very nice. How does it expand as you tighten it?
That's a secret!
I hope you got a patent.
There is a wedge shaped nut inside the tube connected to the other end of the threaded rod. When the rod is raised the sloped wedge nut slides against the pressure plate tube (probably cut at the same angle as the wedge) which forces it out to expand when the nut is tightened.
That’s pretty close!
I need 4 to mount a truck rack on my 2021 Silverado
email me at orders@mowandgosystems.com so we can discuss
What is the status on this? I am looking at green touch or similar as I need to mount my racks now that we have a truck ramp.
Trying to get it out in the next month. Definitely before the start of next season.
Are these available yet? I would love to get a few for my Ford ranger.

Good video, what is the price for the set of 4?
The wedge anchors would be $140 for 4. The bolt in anchors would be $125 for 4. All prices include shipping.
Any update?

@@mowandgosystems😢 that's too bad.
Cool beans 👍

Should sell your concept instead of making and selling you can sell your diagram online I’d buy it so I can build my own
I may go that direction in the future.
