So glad the man of God is wise and is using wisdom and the word to teach us! We as God’s people must stand and vote for men and women who hold the beliefs that align with the Word of God. Prayer first of course, as I Tim 2:1-11. Our nation is where it is because we choose culture over Kingdom. If we as God’s people do not stand for godly principles, then we cannot be upset when unbelievers and evil men tell us how to live and make laws that go against God.

Love this! It always baffles me how christians want the government to tell people how to live or what to do with their bodies but then want to turn around and freak out if they feel the government is trying to tell them how to live?? Like really? Talk about hypocrisy. Yes i'm against homosexuality but if someone who's not in church wants to live that way that's their right. Leave them alone and pray for them. God has given us all the choice of where we want to spend eternity and no one not even for so called religion has the right to try and force them using the law to live a moral life style

    • @fiery.mercaba
      @fiery.mercaba 4 года назад +3

Maybe it is that your presentation lacks a clarity to portray something that you mean that therefore lets what you did say come across as something else, or maybe it is exactly as you mean it. But, personally, I am not convinced that you are as against homosexuality as you think you are, Hillary Mullins, for, if you were, you would not think of it as being a mere matter of people doing what they want to do with their own bodies (which is a seriously flawed thought in & of itself, for a person should be doing what the Creator of his or her body says to do & not do what the same Creator says not to do), but you would be bemoaning that the practioner of homosexuality is being destroyed by this same sin he or she practices.
Tell me, if you have a child & you go into his or her bedroom & find him or her toying with a cobra, would you simply say, "Well, it is your own body, so go ahead & play with that deadly creature if you want to"? Think about it.
And what exactly are you claiming in claiming that Christians want the government to tell people they cannot practice homosexuality? I mean, dissenters have a right to not have homosexuality shoved in our faces & to be free of persecution & penalities for dissenting, so if the outcry you detest has been along those lines, then you err & the outraged dissenters are correct. Indeed, if anything, it has been that the government, especially when headed up by the "Democrats," has been trying to tell us dissenters that we, which obviously means with our very selves, must accept homosexuality or else we will be punished, & the practioners of homosexuality & related aberrations are protected & encouraged in the practice -- to their own confusion & destruction.
Frankly, you sound like you would be happy if homosexuality were legalized & made more acceptable for those who practice it or want to practice it. It also sounds like, by your emphasis on "people doing what they want to do with their own bodies," like you are quite fine with the unConstitutional infanticide-conducive "Roe Versus Wade" law. Just saying.

Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
Matthew 24:32-35 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Voting is not a mandate from the Almighty, & it is better to not vote, than to vote for a platform of evil, for the voter who knowingly votes for persons & policies against the will of the Almighty will not be pardoned just because he or she is supposedly fulfilling "a civic duty." The Almighty will judge you for how you vote, make no doubt about it.

@@carolcrouch1319, I tend to try to do my absolute best to study out what are the facts of any matter, & then I speak that, & so, quite frankly, I really do not care if someone chooses to resist the truths they hear. In other words, I am not the one who has the problem, but rather he or she who resists the truths.
While in some cases I may feel sad for some, I also long time ago came to the realization that people are going to do what they choose to do, according to their beliefs & appetites, but, as long as I say what the Lord bids me to say & do what the Lord bids me do, I have not their blood on my hands, & I personally am alright in the sight of the Lord Almighty.
For one such as I who have looked down the barrel of a gun that a devil-filled man pointed at me when he was trying to get me to stop preaching Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal doctrine to him who had approached me, & I kept ministering until a couple of police officers showed up outside the gas station & arrested him; for one such as I who have stood face to face with a drunken man who was trying to get me to agree with him on misinterpetations of passages & concepts of the Holy Scriptures, but yet I wouldn't budge; for one such as I who worked with a guy at a burger restaurant who was blaspheming & threatening more than once to kill me for believing in the Lord God Almighty while he claimed atheism, I certainly don't get phased by "I don't agree with you."
As for what else you said, I have no idea what you intend your statements to mean to me. It comes across as that you are accusing me of being unsupportive of the values you claim to champion. But it is what it is. There is nothing I would change about my original post.
But I will tell you this. I have been personally contacting candidates running for positions in my state, county, district, etc, & telling them I am a Christian & I personally want to know more about them so that I can know who I am voting for if I choose to vote for any of them. I do not expect for them to be totally aligned with me in belief system, especially not doctrinally, but you can be sure I am sharing with them Biblical truths, & I will encourage them in what good they hold to. And, frankly, I want to make sure they can help me to be able to more easily vote for them so that, in the scenarios that apply, they can defeat the "Democrats" they are running against.
This is thus far the most important presidential election in my lifetime, & the Spirit of the Lord has been emphasizing to me how critical a time it is, & I can feel the pressure of the warfare in the spirit realm. I can tell you this, many who have been professing they are saved & servants of the Lord while time after time voting for evil are going to be left behind -- pun intended.

Thank you for a scholarly overview of our government and the importance of voting. However, the parties of today's America are poles apart in ideological values, and I feel that our religious leaders are remiss if they don't point out the most critical issues. Can it be that the coronavirus is a judgement upon this world for the practices of same sex marriage and abortion? Is the blood of the unborn crying out from the ground, while the vice presidential candidate of the Democratic Party tries to block the confirmation of a God fearing Supreme Court nomination for fear that she would block "a woman's right to choose." I believe that our lives will be very different should this party gain the election. Only a deep repentance and return to God can save our nation.

Romans 13, Daniel 2:21, 4:17, and other scriptures clearly show that God ends up choosing who will be in authority and he doesn’t leave it up to a vote and then has to accept the results. These scriptures show that God has absolute sovereignty over the realm of authorities and leaders in the world. Point being your vote seems to not matter to God on how he will choose on who to put or allow in power. But scripture does show, that he does determine much of that choice on the condition and conduct of the people, based on righteousness and prayer. Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people”, 1Timothy 2: 1-2 among other scriptures.

I don't know why it is not named unless it is because of being a 501(c)(3) organization, but even then, the Trump administration took the teeth out of the Johnson amendment and will not prosecute. Dr Robert Jeffress in Dallas strongly stands against the abominations of abortion and homosexuality, and the Democrat party for supporting it. Over 70 million souls have been murdered in the womb since 1973, and now we are on the brink of reversing this evil, but not if Biden gets in. We need watchmen on the wall sounding the warning. Many are sitting on Pentecostal pews and voting for pro-abortion and democratic-socialist candidates who will take our freedoms. Donna Gayle, Christ Jesus the Almighty bless you! Had I the time earlier today when I watched this video speaking on this exceedingly important issue, it would have looked a lot like this post of yours here to which I am responding.
Let me say here at this juncture that I was Biblically born again (which of course means I obeyed the Lord Jesus' Plan of Salvation set forth in passages such as John 3:3 & 5-7, Luke 24:44-49, Mark 16:15-17, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2:38-39, 8:12-17, 10:44-48, 19:1-6, etc) in a UPCI church in Miami, Florida in 1988, & from early in my salvation walk with the Lord I became aware of & appreciative of Bro. David K. Bernard, particularly through his early books like "The Oneness of God" & "In Search of Holiness," & I had the similar esteem in my heart for Bro. Lee Stoneking, particularly due to his faith-building preaching, Biblical view that all of the members of the Body of the Christ are ministers in the positions the Lord's Spirit has placed said members, & his emphasis on that the operation of the gifts of the Lord Jesus' Spirit are essential & indispensible.
I sighed just now because I have a "That said..." to say at this juncture. So, yeah, that said, I have become aware in recent months of the reluctance of both these men to say quite plainly that the so-called "Democratic" Party, or, as I sometimes call it, the Pelosi Party, or, other times, the Communist Party, is unquestionably a political party entirely dedicated to the will of Satan, & there is no way anyone, minister or non-pulpit church member, can be right with the Almighty when aligning with & voting for an entity like that. In fact, I have heard them & others saying things like, "It doesn't matter whether you are Republican or Democrat," or statements to that effect, & I have been like, "What? How?" I have asked myself as well why is such their position. Granted, the Republican Party is most definitely not the Lord's Church, so it sure ain't perfect, though it has been getting better now that President Trump has taught them how to have a backbone & the RINOs have been & are being exposed & ousted, but, as you have rightly said, to not recognize it, even with its faults, as the only preferred option between it & the "Democrat" Party, if one is indeed going to vote, & especially if one is being urged to vote, seems incredibly weak & in fact disingenuous.
I felt like Bishop Bernard really wanted to say --. You know, it is not my place to put in his mouth words that would alleviate this tension arisen from his reluctance to call a clearly evil political party & its devoted denizens evil, so I will not. It certainly would not alleviate the distress in me that comes from that I have not had answers as to the "How?", the "Why?", etc.
And that those who are "Democrats" may shy away from attending church services is just not a good answer for me, for, as the Scripture says, "Come out from among them, and be ye separate saith the LORD, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, and I will be your God." It comes down to repentance, & that is essentially what this Scripture passage is about, & if such a person is not willing to separate themselves from a political party that champions infanticide, sexual deviancies, athiestic Communism, off-the-charts lying, voter & election fraud, treason, & on & on, then that individual is not repentant & it will not matter if they never miss a church service, or how much he or she is embraced by whoever of the church congregation. Such a person is not saved, cannot be saved, &, more likely than not, because of being made comfortable in sin, will never be saved.
And this brings to mind something related that I have just got to add. Even recently I heard again about how that it is a well-known thing how that the Mangun family, or maybe just Bro. Anthony Mangun, I do not quite recall who of them, has or have been very close in friendship with -- of all persons -- the Clintons. HOW? Bill "Epstein Island" Clinton & his occult-practicing wife? HOW?
My God, it bothers my mind everytime I think about it, which is quite often these days! This is no time for us to be ambiguous on these matters, though. Many individuals are longing for strong Biblical leadership & clarity (&, most importantly, the Lord Almighty Himself "desires truth in the inward parts" & "seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth"), & may the Lord God Almighty help me, who He has called to be a minister of His, to be one who can voice truth & clarity without fear or favoritism.
And then there are some accusing President Trump of sin, when they are voting for a party such as the "Democrat" Party! He apparently is unforgiveable, but the unrepentant Clintons, Obamas, Bidens, Pelosis, et al, are quite fine & to be coddled! What is wrong with this picture? Is it not clear what is wrong?
In fact the Lord has been telling me He is done with some regarding this madness that has been going on, that He is actively issuing judgments in this season -- & justly so, for, for one, why should those who profess to be Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal & yet mercilessly promote & vote for the murder of innocent human babies, & do so election season after elecion season, receive the Creator-Savior's mercy?
Thanks for your post, Donna Gayle. It was & is greatly needed.

Even the Amish are voting this time and have not participated before. It is all hands on decks, and Lord, Your will be done, whether judgment on or forgiveness and healing of our land.

As per UPCI policy, skirting the abortion issue. Do tell how the nation of Israel is a foundational freedom while 60 million children have been sacrificed at the altar of convenience.

You speak from a Roman Catholic position, Ben English, from what your channel information shows, but the question is, is your allegation true, &, also, the other question of what are your ulterior motives?
I do not know anything about the UPCI "skirting the abortion issue" as you claim, at least not on an organizational level, so what you are trying to say has yet to be discovered. But if you are still really alleging that the UPCI is not openly against infanticide, a.k.a. abortion, then you are simply incorrect.
And, by the way, if you are thinking to impugn us on these other grounds to then say, "See, my religion is the right religion, & there is such a thing as the [t]rinity," you are still wrong. In spite of the philosophisizing of those who want to keep the fantasy going, there is no such phenomenon as the heretic Tertullian named "trinitas," but only the truth that Christ Jesus is the Almighty, Yahweh Incarnate (rf. Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 28:18; Revelation 1:8; 1 Timothy 3:16; John 20:27-29; Acts 20:28; Romans 9:5; et al).
And a person cannot be saved except he or she obeys what the Lord Almighty says to do to be saved, & that is repent (rf. Matthew 4:17 & Luke 13:3 & 5), be water baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (rf. John 3:3-7, Matthew 28:19, Luke 24:46, etc), submit to the infilling of the Lord's Spirit & experience the initial evidence of kainos glossa (rf. John 3:3-7 with Mark 16:17's "new tongues"), & continue on in the Way of Sanctification (rf. John 15 & 17:17). Amen.
