Hey Frothers, I'm envious of your travels in the islands of nothern Madagascar, what a beautiful corner of the world - such nice people. You will be happy to know that you are living the life, while guys like me are waking up to -16C weather and some snow to shovel and blow with my snowblower. Bonita, your close call with the snake reminded me of my two years working as a volunteer in Swaziland, when everday walks required the greatest vigilance to avoid any close encounters with poisonous snakes and large pythons. The largest python I encountered was a 5 metre python that had its head tied to a metal bed frame. The guy who caught it, picked up the middle of the snake and laid it across my forearms. It was so thick, bigger than my thigh muscle by about 30%. It was all muscle, but it's skin was like butter. And what I was holding had to have weighed more than 40 Kilograms. I felt sorry for the snake and if I had enough money I would have purchased the snake and taken it with me and set it free. Keep having the time of your life. Talula doesn't know how lucky she is and the same is true for Marley.

Fascinating part of the world. Beautiful beach it genuinely looks like a paradise. It actually looks quite safe, tough wood! A few have mentioned how pirates are getting active around PNG. 😂In any case, Stay safe 😊 Al😮 Thanks for the update ❤ Maybe get some snorkels, goggles and rope etc sent over by the Mother in-law. Hope she’s well and good. As she’s possibly told you there’s some diabolical humidity in Queensland at present. Looks lovely over there in Madagascar.❤
So glad you are out of Indonesia, Thailand etc. I have been watching your videos for years and have always loved the way Mali squats on the front of the dingy ready to dive into the water and go crazy on the beach. Tallula is going to have some incredible memories as she grows up. I am interested to see how you cope with her education. Where to next??? Maybe Zanzibar and Tanzania? I love have you guys are proud of the isolated places. I’m with you, very special. But the issue with people who RUclips and Instagram for a living like you all….is that you turn these isolated places into busy hubs by revealing these places to hundreds of thousands of people. This is happened to so many pristine, quiet landscapes around the world. Once desolate, quiet and beautiful, quickly turned into chaos and busy by YTubers and instragram people. Just keep the locations to your self!!
I get what you are saying and in some cases i agree but .. We chose to share the locations to encourage others to sail here. Madagascar is the fourth poorest country in the world. There is extreme poverty and famine here so no we don’t feel bad about promoting this place as a tourist destination for visitors. They desperately need people to come and splash some cash around. Its an extremely difficult country to sail to with challenging waters all around, not many people brave coming here and if they find this little corner of it then well done to them!
Great Vibes from the people. Do they follow Christianity or something. Just saying they don’t seemingly have the same lack of morality as everywhere else at the moment.😅 All the best!!!❤
We found the people of Madagascar to be very friendly. Madagascar is predominantly Christian, however many people still practice traditional tribal beliefs. There Is a mix between the two.
