Because back when they chose a black actor to portray Fury, they didn't do it with an agenda in mind (or maybe they had that same agenda already in mind but the public was unaware at the time, regardless >) it wasn't like nowadays when they get a black actor to portray a previously white character, the fact they're doing it hypocriticaly is so obvious, waving the actor like an immunity totem, that's actually racist, and so contemptuous for said actor... It even feels like they're trying to provoke hate toward that decision to generate bad buzz which end up making the movie or the show talked about a lot. Maybe they should only focus on making good cinema and perhaps just like that they might get their earnings snowballing...

A character talking about growing up in a segregated country can be a good scene in a number of ways. It could... A. Enrich the character and provide them with an interesting background. B. Actually be important to the story. C. Be interesting and well written dialogue that the audience wants to hear. Secret Invasion provides none of this.
Secret Invasion in the comics was about the EVIL skrolls slowly, and subtlety replacing the heroes, Avengers, Spider-Man and Xmen included. The fact that they didn't do it was a red flag from the beginning.
Admittely, you have to realize, Secret Invasion in the MCU was NEVER going to reach the same amount of epicness as it did in the comics no matter how good the writing would and could be. The comics utilized the x-men, Avengers, etc. In the current MCU we have neither of those teams.
How bout this: For every 10 bad things Reaper reviews (Weather that be Movies and/or TV Shows) He must review one good thing that he has seen, weather it be Films and Shows from the past or the very finite gems of the present. Sounds fair don't ya think?

There’s one constant throughout this season, and it’s Brian Tucker, who wrote for every episode, has a track record of one critically panned movie and two in development hell. Somehow, he’s been given the job of writing a “mature”, “complex” show for a major studio which can afford to hire actual good writers with track records and not some random useless guy with nothing to show. Clearly got hired through connections and not on merit.
