'Tsuyoshi Hisakado: Polite Existence' at Jameel Arts Centre

Tsuyoshi Hisakado’s (one of Japan's leading contemporary artists) first solo exhibition in the Middle East and South Asia focusses on large-scale conceptual installations that span techniques and materials including sound, light, sculpture, computer programming, drawing and immersive installations.
Taking inspiration from the laws of physics and mathematics, his multi-form practice questions the order of space, time, and other natural forces that inform and shape our everyday lives.
‘Polite Existence’ is produced by Art Jameel in collaboration with the Japan Foundation through a year-long exchange programme. It paired upcoming independent curator-writer Anna Bernice delos Reyes (UAE) with Yu Iseki, Curator at Art Tower Mito, Ibaraki, Japan.
