I don't know if you will ever see this but I just wanted to say thank you so much for your videos they helped me so much you're so amazing at explaining things!! and by watching your videos I got accepted in MA in linguistics thank youuuu
Hey, I just started my Phonetics and Phonology class last week, and I must say you save my life. At first I read two chapters of the book we're using, and there were so many questions and things unclear. Your videos help me first to understand the basics with the easy visual and audible input, so then I could go back to the textbook and wrap everything up. I share this with my class, and they love it!!
Now I'm sitting here analyzing everythiiiing and I realize you're one of those people who pronounces "else" like "elts." You're ONE OF THOSE. haha. Really though, thank you for these videos and I recommend that everyone visit his Patreon or personal website to throw a couple dollars at him for this greatness.
Oh Gush, you seem to be a computative linguist!I have been watching your genial videos on Discrete math(which I beloved due to you) and now I have found your phonology video, gonna love it too.YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!
Hi teacher, I want to thank you really. Also, I want to ask you about the app that you use to write on/ what kind of electronic board is this? My teacher is in a dilemma!! She would prefer to explain the lessons for us with this flexible board. Thanks in advance ❤️❤️.
Re-doing the Intro series to be more legible and communicated a little better. I've had more experience with teaching this material in a university now, so it's helped me shape these videos a little better. Phonetics in particular is hugely improved over the old version.

Hello Trev, what program do you use for your amazing tutoring videos? Thanks in advance.
Great video.
Ugh thank you *so* much for this.
Many Thanks!!
What about generative phonology videos
well explained
so can we say that the voiced [l] and the voiceless [! ] are Allophones of the same Phoneme?
In English, yes.
And in Khmer, they might be different phonemes right !
I don't think Khmer has a devoiced [l] surface in their speech at all.
TheTrevTutor Okay thank you :)
Why did u stop producing content?
hey ur my second cousin
2 allophones of the same phoneme
